I can’t believe the flack the niners are getting for this decision. Suppose they DID kickoff in OT and DID score a TD instead of a FG on their first possession knowing exactly what they needed. Then it’s game over anyway because all mahomes needs is a FG to win on the ensuing possession.

Will be interesting to see if Shannan can counter spags adjustments, unlike Brady.

The last 3 years we’ve had $20M—$50M of the defense literally not playing or essentially not playing in the playoffs. Super Bowl champions generally do not have this amount of the roster not playing.

One of the top 20 quarterbacks in the world. Unfortunately, that puts him in the bottom half of NFL starting quarterbacks.

No counter to spags adjustments in two games

BULLSEYE BABY!! Literally I will run laps around the house with joy if we have the courage to go Round 1, 2 and 3 WR. This class is loaded. If you hit on at least 2 of the 3, your offense becomes terrifying in a hurry. We need a Dynamic Explosive WR and another with Contested Catch Great Hands
i agree. How many plays this year had no chance simply because sherfield was out there being counted on to do something. -
Brady’s inability to counter Spags in both games may have cost him his job.

I liked the 6 team per conference system when there were only three divisions. Things got out of wack after the expansion to four divisions per conference. The third best non-division winning team was often better than the worst division winner but left out.

I knew after Bernard went down, the cape would have to go on to have a chance against KC. Almost pulled it off.

It looked for a while that 10-7 would get us ousted and the 18th pick, the sweet spot for still landing a true 1 WR. Of course I wanted the 2-seed and a shot at the Lombardi, but now that ship has sailed I’d like the overall 18th pick.

His error rate is just too high for when defenses force us to dunk and dunk down the field.

Mahomes three playoff victories v the Bills are regarded to be his best performances each of those respective seasons. He’s a great player and he knows he needs to elevate when facing Allen.

Would have needed a healthy Bernard

Bernard was the catalyst for the pass rush. His add-ons, stunts and disguises kept olines guessing all year.

We ended up working the ball down to first and 10 at the 27 so the Diggs drop was recovered from.

Beyond a doubt THE biggest disappointment throughout the whole game had to be the D line. Zero sacks, hardly any pressure gaping running holes.
You knew that the Linbackers and DBs were below par going into the game and needed the D line to step up...Rousseau and Floyd on the edge against questionable tackels??..Oliver and Jones disrupting the middle?...Watch the last Pachecho touchdown, Joseph absolutely gets pancaked in the endzone...kind of sums it up
The stunts Bernard was orchestrating all year were sorely missed.-

The Bills are one of only two teams to be in the final 8 each of the last four years, and only four teams have made the final 8 at least three of the last four years.

Could this lead to some difference making plays from Mr. Miller?
Actually he had 2 fourth quarter pressures on mahomes last month

Some good news in there. Dodson not even having a designation and being good to go is great. He was pretty much a full time starter there since Milano's injury and we need bodies at LB.
Douglas getting a Full Practice in makes his Questionable designation far less Questionable.
All eyes on Taron Johnson. Optimism is great, but we REALLY need doctors to clear him. I feel like him being on the field all week means he's far along in the stages.
If we have Rasul and Taron, that's MASSIVE.
I really didn't see us having much of a shot against Mahomes and the Chiefs offense with Jackson, Elam, and Lewis starting. Especially if our LB's were A.J. Klein and Dorian Williams. It's one thing for that MASH unit to hold up against Mason Rudolph and the Steelers Offense. But KC and Mahomes is another thing entirely.
though KCs tackles are worse than the steelers tackles -
McD can’t refrain from meddling on the defensive side when there is a DC and you can’t have more than one cook in the kitchen.
-
Von actually registered two pressures v KC in the regular season.
-
The way he’s played all year, lumbering out there and showing his age, Kelce seems primed to make critical drop or fumble in this game, which will swing the momentum.
