Chiefs and Pats are very low on the list. I think there is something to be said about the potential of ruining the locker room if you end up severely overpaying one or a few players.

If you actually watch the whole Dwight Clark “catch” NFC championship game you will notice Montana played so bad that he would have likely been benched before the final drive by todays standards. Three horrendous picks.
-
We tried to crowd-source the edge rushing with second-tiered 10M pass rushers like Addison - Hughes in 20-21 and it did not work. Would rather pay 16-18 for the real deal like last year which was working great until that horrendous turf in Detroit ruined my life.

Hurley’s brother used to coach the Bulls, so this is related to Naaman Roosevelt.

He was very Fortunate to Have Luke Keuchly…. What’s interesting is that Jack Campbell of Iowa is training with Keuchly this off-season.
If McDermott gets to make the first pick once again it’s not going to go well.

I have not broken down the all-22, and I’m sure he’s getting roasted frequently. But Klein has big play ability at low cost. Which is exactly what you need to load up on offense and win against a top QB in the playoffs when you are looking for 4 stops out 10 drives any way you can get them to win.

He was great the first few weeks. That unnecessary shoulder injury scrambling around v the Pats really hampered the Ds ability to establish anything post Von.
-
Wiki says he ran 4.78 at the combine. How do you run 4.78 as a DB and still get drafted, let alone the second round.
-
Are McDermott’s tendencies any different from the conservative play calling we have seen from Frazier?

It's a tough schedule. Still think we're a top 3 team - but around 11-12 wins sounds about right, given the opponents.
yes I felt slighted by 10.5 at first, but the schedule is just ridiculous. We play every single conference semifinalist from 2022 plus the Chargers, the Jets twice and Miami twice.-

It looks like he cheated by looking at the final standing and then tweaking the data so the rankings would match the standings as well as popular opinion.

Ironic that Mrs. Bellissimo's granddaughter went to grade school with me (Buffalo P.S. 80), it was her uncle carping there was nothing to eat that prompted Mrs. B to invent her well known version of the snack.
In the late 1970s, I worked across the street from Art's Hoagie Hut on Hertel Ave., and Art already maintained that John Young was well known on the east side for capitalizing on a part of the chicken that few others deemed worth using, aside from soups.
I want to give John Young all the credit for being the primary wing inventor based on his naming his restaurant “Wings and Things” highlighting wings as the featured dish. But I can’t find any photo evidence or menu evidence that his restaurant was actually named that. One John Young site shows a photo of the restaurant but the photo is actually of a San Diego restaurant in the 80s.-

I thought crowder would take a big step forward playing with Allen, just like Brown, Beasley, Diggs. It did not happen.

Brady was so good he could get away with garbage at receiver in his prime. You also could corners on the oline since he got rid of the ball so quick. And, he always took less himself. He created massive savings throughout the office with highest production. Allen has been good enough to mask flaws through the offense and win the division. But that’s it so far.

Exactly. This organization doesn't give up on their draft picks no matter how bad they've been
So we will need to watch Bernard this year? -
The low cost free agency DT rebuild started out awesome last year. Then it all fall apart, especially after Von went down.
-
I’d rather try stay as squeaky clean as possible on the character front. I think you get more calls that way.

Makes the Bengals locking down the LT position at a reasonable price even more gut wrenching.

My answer is Tommy Sweeney every day of the week. What exactly has he ever contributed to the team outside of being friends with Josh Allen and Dawson Knox? I feel like the only time we ever see him lately is if he’s sitting at a Sabres game with the guys who actually play a role on the team.
That play against the Pats where he took a classic and perfect Allen to Diggs bomb off the books says it all.

Digging his own grave
he dug his own grave for two years and was resurrected nonetheless, out of desperation. -
Sends the right message that sloppiness/inconsistency will not be tolerated.

Singletary’s ypc numbers are artificially skewed upward by him not being good enough to be handed the rock when the tough short yardage yards are needed. Never having to run against short yardage defenses will certainly help your ypc. I am so sick of being 2nd and 2 and then worrying about how we are going to get the first down and the massive punishment josh is going to be taking the next few plays. Should have overpaid a little for Jamaal.
-
All running backs rack up inflated ypc stats playing with Allen. He forces all DBs to play deep every play. Best example the Bears game. Josh’s throwing was off that day but fear of the arm led to 200+ on the ground.
