I rewatched his three drop backs v the Bills and think the season would have been longer for the Jets if he stayed healthy. His arm was failing last year and the speed of the game was too much for him. Looked very matt ryanesque back there.

The jets game got me wondering whether a major key to defeating Allen is simply getting his pitch count up. If you make him dink and dunk in q1 his patience will boil over after enough attempts even if he’s having success.

Diggs is very happy when he gets his 100. When he does not, he is very unhappy.

My guess is the need for sunlight to grow grass limited the width of the canopy

JA was trying to hit the big knockout punch the whole game and it’s the only reason we lost. We just had to not turn it over to win.

Whenever I see a running back running through a comedically large hole I think back to this game. Thurman’s only 200 yard game. Amazingly his second biggest regular season game was only 165 yards though he beat that in the playoffs against the chiefs afccg 186 3td

If the guy can hang around the league - to the point of even being considered a top-half left tackle - imagine what he could do if he really committed to fitness. What a waste.

Unfortunately, it looks like he tried to drop a lot of weight rapidly between OTAs and camp. Which is not the way to do it if you want to preserve strength.

The short films were the only reason to watch since forever. And even these have been getting steadily more stale. After 50 years can’t you put another spin on Facenda/Spence.
