    I think we all knew deep down that the season was essentially over in terms of winning it all after the first five minutes in Jacksonville. Still I think they have enough good players to put up some performances here forward worthy of convincing ourselves they still have a shot at the Lombardi. Similar to ‘21 after Tre went down and ‘22 after Von went down.

    When things were not working for Daboll he just pounded the rock with Allen as the ball carrier, mortgaging the future of the franchise. I’m willing to be patient with Dorsey, even sacrificing a few Ws if he is able to demonstrate a path to extending Allen’s prime.

    I can barely remember the great Julio. My lasting impression of his career will be that he hung on far too long and was slow and injured all the time at the end.

    Not weird at all that his agent is publicizing interest from a contender. Agent doing his job.

    The negative is that defenses are preparing for a non-running Allen, which is easier.
