The 77 second Miracle in 1990, Broncos at Bills
Charles Romes replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
After some sketchy performances including a blowout loss to the Dolphins, and these two home games which needed miracles, the team went on a roll and played the best football seen in the franchise’s existence post merger. The miracle games gave the team belief in itself, and team became visibly better. -
Jefferson gets paid: 4yr, $140m contract signed
Charles Romes replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall
Teams will start systematically running wide receiver by committee. Stock piling 2s and 3s. Keeping everyone’s stats down to under 800ypr so no one can ask for too much. Similar to how Belichick changed how running back was done. -
Waddle tua hill, remaining 19 starters league minimum UDFAs.

Beane’s media savvy is vital to attracting top value free agents.

Is this about the site being down? I didn’t notice.

Caleb Williams is off to a rough rookie start
Charles Romes replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know how the idea has taken hold that being short is no longer a detriment to playing QB. Watching the best really short QB hit the wall at 32, Kyler hurt all the time, Bryce disaster. Doesn’t matter, keep picking them number 1 -
What NFL rules changes would you like to see?
Charles Romes replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’d like them to expand out the landing zone for the new kickoff rule from the current “goal line to 20” to a new larger zone encompassing the “goal line to 35”. This would set the stage for a modern version of the onside kick where kickers could try all sorts of soccer style kicks that hit the ground first and are fair game after that. The original onside kick rule from about 1905 was a line of scrimmage regular down play where you could kick the ball down field and it was a free ball when it landed. This would bring the new rule in line with the earliest onside kick rule. It would also draw many people - players and fans - from soccer into the game. -

THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Receivers are a Dime a Dozen
Charles Romes replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall
DHop was clearly one of the 3 best in the league both before and after leaving the Texans for the cardinals. Then hit the wall rather quickly at the age 30 mark, as many do. -
Boxing used to be a major sport. Until greed took over.

A fun game from 1979, Packers at Bills
Charles Romes replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually hate when commercials are removed from these. Ruins the whole understanding of what was happening in real time during the game. Also, the old commercials are interesting. -
No schedule leaks thread? (This can be it…)

Bills at Miami Thursday night week 2. Love it, no sun bake -
Tommy Sweeney signed with Bears after tryout.
Charles Romes replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
Lasting memory was a perfect TD strike 55 yard bomb Allen to Diggs v the Pats in ‘22 nullified because Sweeney is not an NFL player and had to grab the pass rusher. -
WR trade candidates, who do you want?
Charles Romes replied to Einstein's Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think I’d night the bullet and give up a 1 for Metalf. He’s a monster like Allen. They should have been playing together for years now anyway. -
Chiefs Bills Playoff Replay / Bass Kicking
Charles Romes replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thought Beane would at least use one of the 7th rounders on a PK rather than hope for the best with Bass. When kickers hit the wall it’s usually for real. -
This PR team got really good at selling hope during the Russ Brandon era.

Even in the losses last year Allen was incredible in late game drives. tying it up v the Jets two fourth quarter TDs v the jags to get within one score took the lead v the broncos with a TD took the lead v the Pats with a TD Cut it to one score v the Bengals took the lead last drive and again in OT v the eagles. Game tying drive v the chiefs (blown by bass)

Rd 2, Pick 33: WR Keon Coleman, Florida State
Charles Romes replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall
The more Bills McAfee and GMF appearances the better the free agents -
Not that Phil is great, but I don’t see Ryan as being any better. They probably just wanted someone more familiar with today’s NFL.
