    In the Singletary days I used to dread second and short because we had no plays. On second, Singletary would slow-foot it to line and Morse/Saffold etc would get pushed back for between a -1 to 1 yard gain then Allen would take a massive shot on third.

    It’s strange how similar Cousins is to their prior QB Ryan. Identical size, same arm strength, same other abilities in their prime, same limitations, identical rate of decline. I keep forgetting that Ryan has retired and that Cousins is a different person.

    If we are locked into the 2 seed I would support a tank week 17-18 not for rest purposes but to keep the greatest players out of the division. The pats are currently drafting 3rd where Hunter will be if QBs go 1 and 2 as expected.

    It might be worth just having a practice squad guy in there just to pressurize him every day. I think he responded when they did that. I am not as worried about bass as some. His leg is not shot like a Tucker or hauschka his last year.
