Bobby Babich to call Bills' Defense
Charles Romes replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
There were a number of occasions when McD took over the play calling from Leslie during the game to save the day when it was clear Leslie was lost. I’m surprised the McD Frazier relationship lasted as long as it did. I would rather have one cook in the kitchen, McD call the plays. -
What a difference between 5th round picks. Shakir (who lead the league in yards per target and catch percentage) and shorter. The draft stock of both Shakir and CVPG plummeted due to having freakishly short arms, like bottom 5%. I’m sure they feel they’ve cracked the code on mid round value. Only look at short armed players.

What’s the point. If you couldn’t force the 2023 version of Von miller out of the lineup that says about all you need to know.

No Bills claimed on waivers. Time to calm down?
Charles Romes replied to MWK's topic in The Stadium Wall
Okay, IR Spector and sign Hardy -
Brandon Aiyuk officially requests a trade
Charles Romes replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would like to hang onto the $10M Tre white money and see what’s out there at the trade deadline relative to greatest need, then package the Diggs second round pick. Could be an edge or aiuyuk if SF collapses again due to injury, or metcalf if Seattle is going nowhere. -
I don’t think anyone is going to claim Spector and the baggage of his injury history. He’s the perfect guy for the PS. If he happens to be healthy he’s there to be called up.

shavers failure to haul that TD in Saturday highlighted the limitations of his athletic ability. I saw it as very similar to catches sherfield should have made against kc in the playoffs last year that could have easily won the game.

Other Teams Cuts That Might Help the Bills
Charles Romes replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall
Jets insiders are hoping a glut of Dlinemen do not get claimed -
Andreessen will make the team - UPDATE: he made it
Charles Romes replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall
Andreessen seems to have a much bigger frame than other LBs we have seen, and would seem to be more durable. Durability is what we have lacked most in our linebacker room. -
What was the year we almost went undefeated?
Charles Romes replied to Lafromboise's topic in The Stadium Wall
In 64 we went 12-2 before winning the AFL title. In the two losses we blew fourth quarter leads to the pats and raiders, losing to the pats by 8 and the raiders by 3. The 2 pt conversion was in effect in the AFL. -
Who’s stock is up after today’s game? Who’s stock went down?
Charles Romes replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Giving #32 to Brown should have been thought through a little more -
What was the year we almost went undefeated?
Charles Romes replied to Lafromboise's topic in The Stadium Wall
2022 was the closest. Last possession clos losses to Miami, jets, Vikings. But the Hamlin game that was not officially registered looked like it could be a blowout just like the playoff loss to the bengals. -
Seems the bigger cornerback who can knock the stuffing out of receivers is making a comeback in recent years. I’m glad we drafted a guy with size.

One site has the Jets favored to win the AFCE
Charles Romes replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
There are major differences between 40+ Brady and 40+ Rodgers - Oline - injury - Rodgers has been hanging onto it more and more to avoid picks. Tom was the best at getting rid of it his last ten years. - not talked about a lot, but Tom is a good 3-4 inches taller than Rodgers and he didn’t need to move around to see the field. His height was key to his success in his last years. -
Players that we might trade instead of release at cutdown
Charles Romes replied to mushypeaches's topic in The Stadium Wall
Spencer Brown could return some serious value. Roll with van demark on the cheap for three years as another shiny asset is grown from scratch in the Kromer lab. -
I just remember when Matt Barkley hung Beasley out to dry in the garbage game week 17 in 2020. Beasley got rocked and was not himself or not available at all during the playoffs when the Allen O was at its all time peak.

1. It was clearly a drop 2. I’m glad he dropped it, because if he caught it he’d be out for three weeks.
-
is a clip available of Keon’s supposed drop. I missed that part of the game and it’s not on the highlight reel since it was a misconnect.

I would not read much into the all 22 given how bad Trubisky has regressed. DBs are just have to watch Trubisky.

Receivers the Bills could go after?
Charles Romes replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
he was considered done when Brady rescued his career. He had 500 yards in 13 games with the raiders in 06, and the pats gave up only a fourth -
I was thinking Kyle Allen, but the Steelers always keep 3

Van Demark and a second for Aiyuk and some cash, then generate the next asset to sell through the Kromer system. -
Curtis Samuel Turf Toe, Other Injury Updates
Charles Romes replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
Durability of Diggs was undervalued. -
that’s all that McD has been able to do over 7 years - beat up on the trash QBs to stat-up a top rated D - even if Buffalo Joe gets totally roasted by Mahomes and Burrow, it will be no different than what has happened to whatever LBs McD has thrown in there.

Trubisky gets significantly worse every single time he takes the field. This was clear all last year when he was pressed into action for Pittsburgh. I can’t believe the front office overlooked what was happening on the field.
