I love all these posts citing Rogers as part of a dominant WR corps. Reminiscent of the posts of 2011 listing Dareus,K. Williams, and.....JASPER as part of a dominant interior DL roster.
This thread is sickening only because if you are a very good team you can do something as dumb as trading two firsts a second and two fourths for one pick and come out of it smelling like roses.
This makes too much sense. Except that the strategy of using your first round pick year after year to draft a QB until you get one would have won out over whatever the bills have done over the last 15 years.
The theory that the concussion at Arizona ruined his career is disproved by the fact that the next game against the chargers was his best game ever. Also, bill Walsh thought he was great.
Mixing years. The SD game in 80 they won the division and did not play the wild card game. In 81 they beat the jets but lost on the road to bengals - they were about to tie it up at the end but a piccone 4th down pickup was nullified by a bogus call.
Always blamed broken plays on teammates. Really let receivers have it when they dropped passes. Often started games really hot throwing darts all over the field but with a little adversity momentum was not sustained. I do remember many great fergy passes being dropped possibly because the receiver was afraid of getting yelled at or possibly because fast spirals can be tough to handle sometimes - did not throw a Brady "easy to catch" ball.
An elite mega threat otherwise this guy just cannot stay healthy. No one that size is that limber. And no one that size puts those kind of stresses on his joints.
Other than the fact Kolb has a weak arm stands back there like a statue and folds under pressure he's pretty good. Seriously, of you are trying to tank the season for Maziel in 14 there are cheaper ways do do it. Curtis painter may be available.
