Similar to fitz, top 15 potential.

Florence took a big step back last year but I am blaming his decline on George Edwards.

One of if not the best player on the team the last 10 years. Still the top corner on the team when healthy
-
A "has been" with jewlery. There is a reason why the Steelers are going to release him - he can't play anymore.
Kind of reminds me of when Andre Reed left here and went to Washington - What did he do there?...nothin....
He did have that one catch

This thread itself is is not setting any records for memorability. This offseason has been brutal thus far. When is something going to happen.

Team looked like it was building stability on the o line. Then their best o lineman already with one horrific injury went down again.

How many super bowls do the giants have to win before people believe you need to stack the defensive line.

I see gronk as being out of the league in a few years. With that kind of size and speed and agility too much torque is always on his joints. He just won't hold up long term. sort of like a Bob Sanders. Too good to stay healthy.

Fred's a gamer and has been under appreciated for most of his career. Unfortunately, he is 31 and now has an injury history. No team that has given a big contract to an aging running back has had it pay off. See Alexander, Tomlinson, Johnson. While Fred was on the outside of the MVP race for half a year, Alexander literally won the award approaching 30. These are some of the reasons Fred does not receive a lot of attention in this board.

Worst loss was 1994 at home against NE. Frank reich started. Late on the year. Still would have had shot of we won.

Are the voters taking Reed's numbers in context? He was #2 in receiving yardage when he retired, right? Jerry !@#$ing Rice once said that Reed was the best receiver in the NFL.
His numbers are now pretty much the same as Henry Ellard, Irving Fryar, and Jimmy Smith.

This post brings to mind those tv commercials that will have the tram's real qb and a bunch of fake players in the right uniform playing the role of the test of the team. Pretty much the way it is in teal life.
-
Franchise would be pointed on right direction. Guy played hurt all year and was still a threat. Forget the drop he exposed revis that day.
-
I agree - it makes no sense to have a qb with the physical limitations of a thigpen on the bench. Even if thigpen were high in qb iq like a frank reich it makes sense to have a physically limited backup only of you are a championship team. Cellar dwellers need strong arm messiahs on the bench not weak armed messiahs.

This is the best thing to happen go us since olividati coached their d.

First one in Feb was XXXVIII, Feb 1st, 2004, latest in Feb was XLIV, Feb 7th, 2010. All the others were between the 1st and the 7th.
I think the 2002 Super Bowl pushed out a week because of 9/11 was in February. That's what gave them the idea.

Jacksonville had 2 (TWO!!!) home Monday night games in 2010. What was that all about. The league tying to scow case the sale.
-
He put up some big numbers for about 7 games and then garbage time junk numbers. Then he showed he could not take the pounding of a full season.
-
His percentage inside 40 rank him on the all time list and it was done in lousy weather. Good value here.

Osi uminyora on the market before the year began but seen as overpriced is an elite player. His elite skills sometimes make a difference in only a few plays a game but they are ones that change an entire ball game. If the giants unloaded him like they wanted to they would not be going back to the big dance.
-
In addition to being a good and possibly a great player the guy is the most charismatic personality on the team excluding TO since the Super Bowl era. Russ has always acknowledged the need to sell tickets. Toss in another 1.5M over the market value and get the deal done.
-
Billips seems to be the missing link wherever he goes. Guy can still play. What is he now, 42?
-
Uminyora might have won the game with that strip. His price in the offseason was a late first. Probably worth it for a premium pass rusher.
Per ESPN: Rams to trade 2nd overall pick
