There is a huge drop off from the top 3 to Brees. The top 3 have a combined 30 straight seasons of winning football. Below the top 3 the QB can't carry the team all by himself. That said I would offer 3 ones to anyone 4-8, Roethlesberger flacco E manning, Ryan. I'd give 2 ones for rivers and maybe stafford and romo. I forgot about luck. I would put him in the top 3 making the top 3 really 4. Who have 33 straight combined winning seasons and can carry a team by themselves

Schwartz will not get a HC job for three reasons. First he was not a very successful head coach. Second, it has been too short a time since his last stint as HC. Third he will not have registered a statistically significant improvement in the D. Last year the D was around 10th and this year's D will finish around 8-20 after facing the leagues top 3 QBs the last quarter. Pettine brought a 30th ranked D into the top 10.

When Hogan won the job the offense as a whole has ground to halt. The O was teaming with possibilities with the WWW wideout set that has never been tried with Orton and which had zero drops through week 3.

I agree with the poster that the refs stole important stats away from our D. Those stats do add up in terms of intimidation factor and are real. With the Manziel turnover counting we could have benched 4 QBs. Smith Vick Hoyer and Manziel. Manziel may get a start only because the turnover was taken away.
