Wade typically has huge initial successes wherever he goes them it wears ôff. He gives the players more freedom and they respond to it well but then they begin to forget the fundamentals.
Collinsworth has always annoyed me and was an absolute weasel with his call of the Malcolm Butler Super Bowl play. Where does he get off telling everyone he cannot believe the call. Totally disrespectful and denigrating the soaring greatness of Butlers play on the ball. Can't believe the call? Teams have been passing on the 1 yard line for decades in critical situations. It was not more risky than running it. A hat on the ball would have been more likely than butler making the play. Procedure/offsides/bobbled snap the balls in the 5. Butler breaking up the pass would have been a great play. Actually snaring it was unreal. But all we heard from collinsworth was that it was a bad call by the coach.
The 5.5 career yds/Rush is just ridiculous. I say he gets in if he hangs it up now with only 7200 yards. Could walk around the rest of his life as the guy that averaged 5.5 yds/rush.
And yes I was as shocked just like anyone when there was no flag on the Dareus Gilmore play. I waited 30 seconds. When graham made the great play to seal the win earlier I breathed a sigh of relief when there was no flag after five seconds. Then the flag came anyway.
Just look at Houston and Detroit this year to see the suffering that can occur when you are weak at the DT position. You cannot compete. We have one of the best in the game locked up long term. A great DT can single handedly keep you in many games. Well worth the 100 Mill.
Look up the 1990 season, the best Bills team ever. Got blown out at Miami week two. Were pushed around all over the field weeks 4 and 5 against Denver and Oakland but somehow won those games. But then started thinking they were as good as their record and started playing up to their record. Wining games you may have deserved to lose are the best wins you can have.
I still don't understand why NFL Europe has not returned. US fans want to watch their teams' players and extra football. Europe messes it. The league needs it to develop QBs refs and better play in general. And the league is filthy rich. What are they saving by not having it, a few hundred $million?
It's good our pass rush is still respected even though the stats are bad. The offense has to pay some kind of price for having to pass quick. Doesn't press coverage work in this situation?
Yeah. If only Preston, Nigel, Cordy, Robert played to their rookie promise we would have won easily.
There it is, leads the whole league in passes defensed

that's the one positive from today TT staying in pocket and avoiding sacks with eyes downfield. Really impressed. Really got killed by not having sammy. Harvin and woods need the best DBs on sammy to be successful.
Now that you mention it Fitz put together nearly a full year of good stats between the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011. His rating was around 100 at the top of the league during that time frame spanning two different seasons. Then he signed the contract and had one more good game before everything went south.
I'm as excited as anyone about the prospect of Tyrod being the guy. Defenses are just beginning to build a book on him and there are many that fade out of the league quickly defenses start taking away their best stuff.
Just from the bills look at Doug Fluties drop off between 98 and 99, Losman had a promising year in 06, Trent fooled everyone for over a year (bill Walsh saw something in the.kid...). Fitz was awarded a big contract based on a 5 game sample under Chans system.
Late this year we may have serious discussions about whether Tyrod is any good. It won't be until 2017 until we' have a really good idea
