  1. 1,646 yards receiving in 2013. 13th best all time overall. 5th best all time outside.
  2. You need a gun to play at the Ralph. One thing that makes our search so difficult.
  3. What is it with the raiders signing all the failed bills starting qbs. Johnson, Losman, Edwards, Manuel. All big arms except Edwards.
  4. I'll sign up for a small burner wannabe with hands of stone between the 3rd and 6th.
  5. Maybe a James Hardy will be there in the 2nd
  6. WR. The main reason is that Sammy while a legit #1 is not injury resistant enough to be franchised and signed beyond his first contract. A WR at 10 if selected well should assure the team has a veteran #1 as it auditions QBs over the next 3-4 years.
  7. God help us. Did you see that game where Siemian tried to throw a Hail Mary from the opponent's 40 and he could not even get it to the 10. I'm okay with a bridge QB but not a noodle armed bridge at the Ralph where you need to be a bomber to even be able to think about minor successes.
  8. OMG he was commenting on going against Belichick and somehow managed to work in a story about the time he beat Belichick in the playoffs. Its always about him even when he is hired to talk about someone else.
  9. Whaley's copying of the Julio trade up did not make any sense. Not because Watkins is not a great player when healthy. Watkins is great but does not have the size to ascend to the game changing physical force level of a Julio or Calvin Johnson. Only a great receiver who can also be a physically dominant force is worth that kind of value.
  10. When you have a franchise QB you never trade him unless you happen to have a second one on the roster. With a franchise QB you are potentially only two years from the Superbowl no matter how bad you suck now, see Matty Ice.
  11. While they are at it they might as well interview Matt Millen for GM
  12. Tyrod had one of his best games as a pro against the Seahawks and we pushed the ball down the field all game long. But that game really showed the difference between winners and losers. Gruden highlighted that the Seahawks' mantra was defending every inch of turf, continuing to battle even though you were being out-schemed on that particular day. In spite of yielding yards all game long it seemed inevitable that the Seahawks would make the big play on D at the end and they did.
  13. With ratings plummeting and the league desperate for feel good stories we may be seeing a lot more looking the other way in upcoming years. You want another example? Remember Peyton Manning's awkward excuse for juicing was that it was his wife and not him that actually took the drugs? Seems like many parties conspired to miraculously restore his pristine league legend and cash cow stature. Expect Brady to break the 40 barrier like no one else since Barry Bonds.
  14. Things that look forced when EJ does them look natural when Cardale does them
  15. On the one hand its amazing how many people on this board give Whaley a free pass in view of all of the "unexpected" injuries when all he does is sign older and/or injury prone players. On the other hand Harvin was incredibly productive early last year - on pace for a 1000 yard season - before the injury.
  16. Have to agree if the season ended today. To be on the brink of a 5 game winning streak with all the street free agent types on the field was miraculous and only explainable by good coaching and scheme.
  17. When you have a chance to win the whole thing you have to go for the jugular. Calvin Johnson or Brandon Marshall
  18. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/10/05/after-making-18-tackles-brown-named-afc-defensive-player-of-the-week/
  19. He looked great last year, until late in the season when he was pressed into duty as the featured back. His 24 carry 28 yard performance week 17 is what you will get if you think of him as a starter. A good change up relief back, not an every down back.
  20. I'm not sure this is the worst offseason, even in recent memory. You have to consider 2009, when we fired our OC a week before the season, or who could forget 2014, when the brass finally realized we had no QB a few days before the first game.
  21. On ESPN2 right now. Plays for Saskatchewan. 500ys 5TDS for the Roughriders last year. I never saw him as an NFL receiver but many on this board loved him.
  22. The bashing Flacco takes on these lists is criminal. Has the best post season in the history of the game, then gets hung out to dry by the GM who takes away his weapons and replaces them with cast offs.
  23. A stalwart underrated player.
  24. The GOAT IMO. Watching him dominate for more than a decade I remember being so thankful and feeling so blessed he was a Bill.
