Voice of the Fan - TBD and Buff News
Charles Romes replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What's strange is that they tried to charge for it 4-7 years ago, it didn't work, and now they are trying again, while all the remaining paid newspapers are going free. The only thing that would get me to sign up for the BN would be if the Bills were to continue to overperform but at an even higher level and I was desperate for more content to revel in for purposes of squeezing out even more enjoyment from the team's success. I'll subscribe if they push their record to 6-2. -
Tampa Bay's last play among longest in NFL history
Charles Romes replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
League needs to make rule changes after this play. Second offensive fumble play is dead. -
Bills Claim CB Tony McRae; Release WR Kaelin Clay
Charles Romes replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our front office is showing a knack for knowing when a guy is and when a guy is not worth keeping. I can sense that the whole league is paying particularly close attention to all our moves. It's a good feeling. -
The Worst Game Ever..Or the best?
Charles Romes replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Buffalo's replacements went out with a 6-3 overtime win against the Giants that was even comically sloppier than the games Taylor finished with 2.0 sacks and numerous pressures even though he was constantly being held, and often tackled, by center Will Grant. At halftime, coach Marv Levy approached Grant and said, "Will, what in the world is going on out there? You have been called for holding six times in just one half!" "Hey, Coach, that's really good," Grant said. "Because I've been holding him every down." -
Week 7...Expecations should return to pre-season

Yes with Mathews back there is some potential for resembling a legitimate NFL offense -
Lacanfora: Seahawks tried to trade for Glenn
Charles Romes replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only way you trade him is if the foot injuries are never going away. If the foot injuries are never going away the doctors should be able to figure that out and he's not worth much. -
Ben McAdoo Has "Giant" Problems - Has Been Fired
Charles Romes replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Feel kind of bad for the guy. His superstar is an overvalued injury prone me first smurf diva. -
Tom Brady has sprain to non-throwing shoulder
Charles Romes replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is why I liked the late season Pats games when the schedule came out. Hard to not break down at the age of 40. -
Sammy Watkins complaining about targets again
Charles Romes replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I saw Goff tried to force him the ball 3 times and it was 3 wasted downs. On one of them Watkins failed to look back for the ball. On the other two his separation was not great. I'm thinking he's just not as good as all the hype. The receiver version of CJ spiller. -
Sammy Watkins complaining about targets again
Charles Romes replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One thing that would help and which may be possible with the upgrade is the ability to jump to the end of the thread seamlessly while on your mobile. I very much appreaciated that a new thread was made on this topic since I don't have to mine the whole thread to figure out what it's about or what the current discussion is. Like the new thread here. -
Why are NFL rosters kept so small?
Charles Romes replied to Samwell Tarly's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought we would see the rosters expand to 60. With the NFL and football as a whole in decline that will never happen. Not enough money to go around, not enough deserving players. -
Fire Rico Now; be done with it.

He's Wandstadtian. -
What has Brandon Beane done to improve this team?
Charles Romes replied to Yeezus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Watkins had 0 catches for 0 yards yesterday playing in the leagues number one scoring offense. About 3 downs were wasted trying to force the ball to him. On one he was not looking back at the ball when it arrived. -
At this point he would be happy if that is all it is.

More from BN sports editor
Charles Romes replied to JoshBarnett's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The last time the BN charged for a subscription maybe 3-5 years ago I tried to sign up several times but could not. The subscription sign up interface kept crashing when I tried to register. Since then there is so much more content available from other sites. The only thing that is making me think about signing up again is the incredible play of the team and the need to bask in the glory of the victories. Hopefully the team will keep winning and more people will sign up. I am sure the Bills are the main driver of new subscriptions. When I try to subscribe again my hope is that the registration will be seamless. -
I'm sure the vultures on this board would be circling around Watt if he was a Bill. He has 0.0 sacks this year and appears to be a shell of his former self.

Dennison Likes What He's Seen from His Offense
Charles Romes replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Was thinking the same thing. Stone and receiver are two things you don't want to hear together. -
A question about moving to new message board software
Charles Romes replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If there is a cheap way to link to the past and everyone keeps their current credentials that's fine. I am really looking forward to a platform that allows you to go to last page to a post on your mobile without going into full version. I do this move many times a day.
