  1. Can we also replace a 31 year old Mario Williams with a 29 year old Mario. Also let's replace a 33 year old kyle with a 31 year old kyle. The heart of the D has hit the wall my friends. Accept and move on.
  2. Yes you never cut a return man who never gives you a heart attack. Could have beaten NE.
  3. I would have to say marios drop off from elite stature has been the single most important factor in the season being a disappointment. This team's window was this year and next year based on Marios age. Now it looks like the window has closed.
  4. Everyone realizes we are talking about a first year starter who has just put up 19 straight quarters without an interception or fumble, correct?
  5. You better hope that other teams can't repeat this game plan. Tom Brady will be looking like Peyton Manning very soon.
  6. I posted before the Jets game that it seemed odd the schedule makers would have the Bills and Sabees playing the same night. But that was a sabres away game. This is a home game! How is this going to work? There will be quite a bit of bottlenecking at First Niagara. Why not start the Sabres game an hour early.
  7. I don't like the fact that kc and Houston are suddenly playing great right before we face them. I don't see how that is any good. We also need dallas to keep tanking so they have nothing to play for when we face them.
  8. I have to agree with the original poster. There will be a seismic shift in the balance of power in the AFC East and it is going to happen Monday night. It has been a long time coming. It will be extremely satisfying to bask in the glow of the national media attention that will be bestowed upon us next week and for the rest of the decade.
  9. I could see Pettine taking over as DC next year. They would have to do something.
  10. I have to agree. Every time I flip the channel there is chandler dropping another one. I almost feel bad for the pats for having him and can't believe they have kept him. Wouldn't surprise me to see a chandler drop causing the pats to lose the whole thing.
  11. How many chances are Jeff fisher and greggo going to get down there. The game has passed them by in the same way it has other 90s coaches like wannestadt and shanny.
  12. This is a game we pull out all the stops in. If we win we only need 3 of 6 to make the playoffs. Tyrod as integral part of the running game. Lots of wildcat.
  13. He really uses his arm strength to protect the ball and to minimize the negative affects of his limitations. He gets away with locking into his primary because he can zip it in there and make a play despite locking in. Dbs can't sit back and read his eyes since they may not get there in time.
  14. Unfortunately Fitz' best skill is sack avoidace. Not a good week to get the sacks rolling in. I will settle for 2 picks.
  15. I can't recall this ever happening before except the maybe the playoffs. You think that two multi-billion dollar organizations could do a conflict check.
  16. Fitz loves to throw weak armed 50/50 balls. Darby will make a play on one of these to decide the game. That and the new kicker for the jets will miss one. Folk has been a bills killer and its big that he's out.
  17. The regular QB passer rating is a joke but mainly because it has one huge flaw, it doesn't penalize at all for taking sacks, and other lesser flaws like getting lots of yards does not help. Rob Johnson singlehandedly exposed the regular system by being by far the most sackable QB in NFL history while putting up nice to exellnt passer ratings. He finished his career 83.6 passér rating nearly identical to jim Kelly's 84.4. They just need to tweak the current passer rating so sack avoidance and yards count, not trash the whole system.
  18. Fitz is having his best year - #3 in qbr? Turning Marshall into comeback player of the year? Are you kidding. Problem is with Fitz is that whenever you allow yourself to think "Well maybe..." he throws another one up for grabs attempting to do something he cannot do physically.
  19. Hate to say it but he doesn't seem to have the same burst he used to.
  20. Huh, I though Preston Brown was the man, the coach's son, the genius signal caller, Whaley's great find. That's why we traded Kiko. And Nigel Bradham just a few months ago was the emerging playmaking superstar about to have a breakout year.
  21. I have not fully allowed myself the all out sob session where I get down on my knees and thank god that the long national nightmare is over. I will say this. His tendency to make a big play seems to increase the more critical the situation. Take the knockout blow TD to watkins yesterday on third and forever. You know how many times chan and Fitz went for the knockout like that with a game semi in control. Chan and fitz failed every time. And Tyrod strikes gold. He also stood taller under pressure v the pats and he won the game against the Titans by himself when roman could come up with no other option. Performing better under pressure is known in some circles as the "it" factor.
  22. As another poster said I don't get the wilcots hate. I think he's fine if not good and he does enough to show he's done his homework. If he really said deranged rhino for Karlos I love it.
