  1. The way to negate telegraphing that it's a pass if a pass-catching TE like Nelson is in the game...is by running the ball. And why will the OL "be an exercise in musical chairs?"
  2. He has that extra gear going across the middle as well. Can't wait to see him in action this season. That is, before he destroys the Bills.
  3. Fine will be the blocking back (and it looks like he's making plays in the passing game in OTA's) while Nelson will be the pass-catcher. Any blocking on Nelson's part will be gravy.
  4. Wait, your evidence is Jimmy Johnson and what he claims he heard others did 17 years ago, and what he believes is happening now, without naming names, any other teams being implicated, or anyone else corroborating his claims? That might work for mouth-breathers like Mr. WEO, but it's proof of nothing. Oh and Johnson and Belichick are fishing buddies, which speaks to his credibility. And by the same token, assuming that everyone did cheat, I could say "everyone used steroids so get off Barry Bonds' and Mark McGwire's backs." How do you think that would play to the masses?
  5. Like...whom? I acknowledged the 18, saying that they had arguably one of the greatest collections of talent in the NFL and that illegal videotaping wasn't responsible for all of their wins. But that cheating obviously provides an advantage, and in some games, the difference between winning and losing.
  6. The Bills have the best ST's unit. That counts for something outside of the "we don't have X number of stars..." And this is the Bills' first year in awhile with 2 stud WR's, a chain-moving 3rd WR, 2 stud RB's, promising TE's (Fine will surprise some people and Nelson has some wheels), what looks to be an imposing interior OL, and a very good secondary. I'd like to see another stout DT and Tinoisamoa (or a better alternative) added to shore-up the LB'er spots, but I think the Bills have the makings of a good team this year.
  7. Sure the Patriots went undefeated during the 2007 season. But they had arguably the greatest collection of talent in NFL history. And still they lost in the SB. Whereas in previous years, they didn't have the best talent and won 3 SB's. The difference between winning and losing sometimes comes down to a slight edge (and no one is claiming that they won all their games by cheating). Belichick had been videotaping since he became head coach of the Patriots and continued to do it after getting warned in 2006. You don't do something for 8 years, and continue to do it after being threatened with serious consequences, if it doesn't benefit you.
  8. Shows you what a joke the Commish is when it comes to suspending players.
  9. It was definitely intentional. As have been his other cheap shots.
  10. That's like "The World According to Garp." "You know, I had mine surgically removed."
  11. Currently there is no cap for next year. But regardless, the Patriots* won't want to pay Wilfork's asking price, which is Haynesworth-type money.
  12. They won't move him this year. They'll probably franchise him next year, after they can't get him signed.
  13. I guess you guys have never heard him talk before.
  14. Whatever happened to a good old threesome?
  15. He can't practice per league rules.
  16. He has other contract offers as well.
  17. What a cancer! Cut him now!
  18. I'm sure your fellow Patriots* fans aren't talking much about Paris Lenon. That, pally, is the definition of a "JAG."
  19. I assume that he's talking about the Jags' lease with Jacksonville preventing them from moving before the Bills allegedly move to Toronto (not gonna happen, since splitting games would make the most sense). Good luck with that.
  20. The Patriots'* DL is better. I'd even be willing to say their LB'ing corps is better, although no Patriots* fan can be happy with it currently. But the Bills' secondary is better. Springs has been in decline for years and can't stay healthy, Bodden was cut by the lowly Lions (considering your words on Tinoisamoa, you can't think much of Bodden or Lenon), they have no 3rd CB, have no SS, and Merriweather may be a player. Other than that, they have rookies they're counting-in, as do the Bills.
  21. Josh McCown?
