  1. From today's article:
  2. Yeah, what a "ghetto punk!" Bringing his own liquor into bars, running into a pole in December, and letting a relative use his car. Lock him up!
  3. So if Hardy was in a car that was involved in a crime and he doesn't talk, it means he's a "ghetto punk" and you should win your bet? Do you think you should win your bet if he gets a speeding ticket? How about a parking ticket?
  4. What? Is this a hypothetical, like "if Hardy were at the scene of the crime...?" And if that's what you're asking, the answer would be no.
  5. Does the etiquette rule book state that you have to apologize immediately, or can you apologize at a later date? Like say, when you write a big old check?
  6. Given the minimal penalty Lynch would face if convicted, I'm starting to really think that he's protecting someone else, who quite possibly has a criminal record.
  7. If Umenyiora could play LDT, Taylor to the Gints would make a ton of sense.
  8. Talk about hypocrisy!
  9. He's a vested veteran, meaning he doesn't have to clear waivers. I'd definitely bring him in for a look-see. He's from Cleveland (bummer it didn't work out for him there) so being in Buffalo wouldn't be a bad consolation.
  10. True, but in either case, you're not talking. So it's semantics.
  11. If Peters is looking for franchise LT money, I'll tell him "wait another year son" before making that kind of investment. If he has another Pro Bowl season, then by all means pay him. But while I understand his viewpoint, I can also see not wanting to redo a player's deal after their first really good to great season. That sets a bad precedent.
  12. Martin Nance? Seriously, this kid should be a player.
  13. Whose shameful behavior? Again, we don't know who was driving the car.
  14. That was my own addition. If the DA had credible eyewitnesses that are saying Marshawn was driving, taken with the fact that it was his car, he'd have been arrested by now and there wouldn't be "no quick resolution" to the case.
  15. I wonder if the ER tested the BAC of the vic?
  16. http://www.buffalonews.com/258/story/366062.html "No quick resolution" says that the eyewitnesses who claimed he was driving were not credible and unless some new information comes to light, no charges will be filed anytime soon. As for Lynch's lawyer wanting a "precondition" before disclosing information, IMHO that sounds like someone else was driving.
  17. With a high-profile patient like Marshawn, NOT doing a thorough job would be a death-knell for the doctor's career. Whereas doing a good job would probably convince Marshawn to be a spokeman for the doctor.
  18. And Ogden probably retiring, to boot. No, it's that reach of a 1st rounder they drafted who will turn everything around.
  19. Yeah, those "4 witnesses" rumored to have seen him driving were probably far from credible, seeing as how they were uncovered 5 days ago and there still hasn't been an arrest. What more could they be looking for than witnesses? One of the occupants of the car to roll? Good luck with that!
  20. There IS no evidence that he was behind the wheel, hence the reason he hasn't been arrested. There may be people who claim they saw him in the area and/or get behind the wheel, but people are unreliable and it's up to Marshawn's lawyer to discredit them, and then later for a judge or jury to do the same.
  21. Coles had 646 receiving yards and an 11.7 YPC average last year. And Keller is a TE who will only see time in 2 TE sets, unless they start him over Baker, who had a respectable 40 catches for 406 yards. But I agree that they don't have "no WR's." However their QB situation will have the most say on offense. I'm not sold on Clemens and Pennington is on the downswing.
  22. Cotchery had 1130 yards on 82 receptions, but just 2 TD's. Coles has barely broken 1,000 yards receiving the past 4 years, but has had 12 TD's the past 2 years. I'd hardly qualify either as "great" WR's. As for the RB's, it's the same group as last year, plus the backup RB from the Dols. BFD. At TE, Chris Baker is disgruntled. On the OL, Faneca should be an upgrade but is he enough? On defense, they're sticking with the 3-4, but Kris Jenkins will be their NT, and he had trouble playing well and staying healthy the past few years in a 4-3. Their LB's outside of David Harris and their DB's don't impress me much. As I said, they'll play their AFC East rivals tough, but they won't win the division and won't make the playoffs.
  23. No, they're coming in for when Hardy gets suspended.
