What if the cop is a fat chick? $20 and a large pizza? Sobriety, or lack thereof, is the key. It's easier to hit a drunk person, so they're worth less.

Cops are worth more than drunk fat chicks.

Jacksonville believed to be most likely team to move to LA
VOR replied to richNjoisy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There's a difference between making $17M in profit on a $25K investment, versus an $800M investment. While I think that a new stadium isn't the answer, higher prices will inevitably have to be implemented across the board. And that might not sit well with the old faithful, but the alternative is the team leaving town. -

But I thought that winning led to people showing up to games and/or teams making a lot of money? -
He doesn't. He goes off of the most negative thing about a Bills player, whether true or not. Hence the reason he says that Hardy never could beat the jam at the LOS in college, or that Stroud is 310# (LOL!) and can't clog up the middle of the line.

What struck me as odd about the murder is that the murderer wrote a ransom note, yet killed her. And in the ransom note, it asked for $118,000. That happened to be the exact amount of a bonus that John Ramsey received earlier in the year. There is no way that was a coincidence.

Except you have to pay per kilo. -
No, obie wan and AKC only say the Jags are infallible when it comes to defense. They're fallible when it comes to offense.

More like just because he's tall, speedy, and a freak athletically, it doesn't mean a guy who had only played QB can play receiver in the NFL.

Did we know this? DTs will switch assignments
VOR replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The answer is to stack the box and make Beck or Henne beat you. The Bills on offense will pound the Dols up the middle, since they'll have just one small man in the middle of their DL. Sure he could beat the jam. Why do you keep perpetuating a falsehood? -
Actually, I asked first. When you give the answer the question I first posed, I'll give you my response.
-
Here's a question for you: given what transpired last year, do you think the Bills underperformed, overperformed, or did about what you expected?

Despite the improvement by the Fins, the Bills will still sweep them. The Jets improved and may be able to take a game. And the Pats might rest their starters in the season finale and allow the Bills to win. So the division record likely will be the same (4-2) as last year. Outside of those games, the Bills play the NFC West, with only the Seahawks being a tough team, and the Bills get them at home to start the season. The teams I can't see them beating are the Jaguars, Chargers, Browns, and Broncos, given the quality and/or location of the games. So that's 10-6. Maybe take another win away and they go 9-7. I agree on defense. On offense, I don't think that team can simply ignore Hardy when he lines up on the outside, or that DB's will be able to jam him and keep him on the LOS. That should take pressure off of Evans. -
Forget the past 8 years, which is another discussion entirely. I'm talking about now. Would adding Albert and his utility in maybe 4 bad weather games a year be worth more than a CB who can be used in all of them? Would Albert have been a significant enough upgrade over Butler to have warranted passing-over McKelvin?

I don't think he's going that far. But I find it curious that with the moves the Bills made over the off-season, these guys think the Bills will be no better than 7-9. It's as if they got rid of good players over the off-season, added scrubs, and won't be getting back any injured players. -
What did Rich think of Mike Williams? I don't know, I'm just asking. I like what I saw from Greer, but I don't know if I could say he'll ever be an elite CB. Same for McGee. I don't believe Clements was either. Youboty has done almost nothing and Will James is older and has been injury-prone. On the other hand, the Bills really like Dockery and Butler, so Albert would have been a complete luxury pick, unless as I alluded to, he could play center.
-
Would Albert have been a viable center candidate for the Bills? Because I don't see him as an NFL OT, and the Bills seem happy with Dockery (not that he'd get benched at what he's making) and Butler.

Go right ahead. Removing Stroud from the equation led to a down year for Henderson, former backup Rob Meier moves into the starting lineup, and despite having a top-10 draft pick, their only DT acquisition was former 1st round bust Jimmy Kennedy. They'll need major help from unproven youngsters Landri and McDaniel. Personally I think they were expecting Dorsey to fall to them and when he didn't, reached for Harvey. But time will tell. -
Interesting you mention that. I'd heard sordid rumors that they whored-her out and that her death was an "encounter" gone wrong, accidentally. I don't know if it's true but nothing surprises me anymore.
-
What does Stroud know? The Jags know Stroud better than Stroud knows Stroud.

Wade Phillips already on the way out in Dallas

Whose call was it for the ST's players to not stay in their lanes? -
Oh, the irony! If Walker had been picked-up by the Fins or Jets, you'd be talking about how 2006 was meaningless and that his performance with either of those teams in 2007 is what mattered most. Not dissimilar to a week ago were telling us how Reggie Torbor was a great pickup for the Fins, versus Kawika Mitchell, using stats to backup your argument for Mitchell being a bust, yet ignoring Torbor's worse stats. Then you mentioned Jake Long, who has NO stats in the NFL, as an upgrade for their O-line, just because he was the 1st overall pick, as if that means anything. Look, you'd be taken more seriously if you could remain consistent and not inadvertently read the wrong stats/make stuff up (whichever it is). Or say "well if this were the Fins or Jets..." You seem to make some good points on occasion, but you go out of your way to bash everything the Bills do.
-
Neither was the performance of the entire O-line, as well as their offense. To pin it all on Walker is silly, at best. Again, I couldn't care less what he did in Oakland. If the Patriots had taken that viewpoint, they never would have traded for Moss, period.

Wade Phillips already on the way out in Dallas
VOR replied to /dev/null's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
His history suggests that he cannot win in the playoffs. Whether that's happenstance is anyone's guess. And in Denver, he was replaced by Shanahan, which was a great move. In Buffalo he was fired after he refused to fire Ronnie Jones. With the Cowboys, he was done as soon as they re-signed Jason Garrett to a huge contract, to prevent him from leaving and to takeover for Phillips after this season. -
I said "fair enough," meaning point well-taken. That was my second guess. No, but it wasn't the lowest of his career and wasn't even low compared to the left side; it was the same. Maybe Fargas was just bad that year? He's a marginal starter at best.
