I too think that McGee is best-served as a nickel, or possibly dime, CB, where his height won't be as much of an issue. I'd ideally like to see 2 from among Greer, McKelvin, and James be the starters on the outside, with the loser going to nickel or dime.

As I said in another thread, the Bills probably want to see that Peters is back to 100% before giving him a huge extension. I think that's a reasonable request.

Forget MySpace. And most likely, the doctor she works for has a strict policy about employees dating patients. I believe Parrish hurt his wrist diving for a pass. Everett was from getting his leg caught on the turf. Vincent did break JP's leg. And who the Bills were targeting at 31st is anyone's guess. McKelvin got guaranteed money in between the 10th and 12th pick. That's all that matters. And the 13th pick, RB Jonathan Stewart, got 5 years and $20M from Carolina. But $10.8M is guaranteed.

After thinking about it, the only logical conclusion I can come to is that the Bills want to see if Peters is recovered from his injury before giving him the big bucks, as one poster mentioned. If that's the case, then I agree with them. They haven't seen, or heard from, him since January, so they don't know how he's doing. The troubling thing is that Peters chooses to stay away, which could mean the injury isn't healed, robbed him of some mobility +/- gives him chronic pain. I hope not.

And then there was one: Jason Peters.

I went to camp as well. I can't give nearly the detailed information Mike can, but I also thought that Hardy looked great catching everything and that he'll be a factor/weapon for the Bills who needs to be the #2 WR immediately. Jason Jones and Steve Johnson also caught my eye.

Spoiled brats would take this public, kind of like how people view Favre's situation. And as I said, I don't for one second believe that Brandon has no idea what Peters and his agent want. And the breaks are that Peters can sit-out and wait for Edwards to get injured, watch the Bills crawl back to him, and then demand a premium over what he would have taken before.

The "we haven't heard from them" sounds like the Sabres-Chris Drury fiasco last year. I don't buy that the Bills don't know what Peters wants, after seeing what Dockery, Walker, and even Gandy (from the Cards) got, and then making All-Pro himself. And it's not like Peters or his agent have gone to the media.

The Bills didn't give Peters his $3M deal based on potential. He had 10 starts at RT in 2005 and proved he belonged, hence the contract after the season. Since then he's out-performed that deal and is not the 78th highest-paid OL in the league.
