OL lines (and Dlines) work as a unit
VOR replied to Zulu Cthulhu's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills (read: Brandon) have said that if Peters comes into camp, they'll talk about a new contract. Therefore the one making the mistake is Peters and/or his agent. -
Well, except for the chick in between them all, you're correct. Seems more like dry humping to me.

Now confirmed report of injury to Bills player in camp

And apparently Will James suffered a groin injury. Hopefully it's not serious, but given his inability to stay healthy... And in some good news, James Hardy and Ko Simpson were back at practice. -
Song Lyrics, either partial or whole that you like.

"The days grow shorter and the nights are getting long Feels like we're running out of time Every day it seems much harder tellin' right from wrong You got to read between the lines Don't get discouraged, don't be afraid, we can Make it through another day Make it worth the price we pay The Good Book says it's better to give than to receive I do my best to do my part Nothin' in my pockets I got nothin' up my sleeve I keep my magic in my heart Keep up your spirit, keep up your faith, baby I am counting on you You know what you've got to do CHORUS: Fight the good fight every moment Every minute every day Fight the good fight every moment It's your only way All your life you've been waiting for your chance Where you'll fit into the plan But you're the master of your own destiny So give and take the best that you can You think a little more money will buy your soul some rest You'd better think of something else instead You're so afraid of being honest with yourself You'd better take a look inside your head Nothing is easy, nothing good is free But I can tell you where to start Take a look inside your heart There's an answer in your heart CHORUS (THIS IS THE CORRECTION) Fight the good fight every moment Every minute every day Fight the good fight every moment Make it worth the price we pay Every moment of your lifetime Every minute every day Fight the good fight everybody Make it worth the price we pay Yeah" "Fight the Good Fight" - Triumph -
The fact that the bottle can stay on her back means the guy behind her isn't doing his job.

As I said, hindsight is a wonderful thing. I never once heard the term "blue-chip" associated with Ngata's name around the 2006 draft, and I'd be interested to know how many of you who now say he was one thought he was one back then and/or wanted the Bills to draft him. Believe it or not, he was the guy I wanted the Bills to draft with the 8th pick in the 2006 draft. Not because he was a "blue-chip DT," but because he looked like a run-stopper that the Bills needed with the loss of Pat Williams (who incidentally, the Bills got as an UDFA). But I've seen a few debates over whether a run-stopping DT is a player you take high in the draft, versus a pass-rushing DT like Tommie Harris, who was taken 14th overall in the 2004 draft. Not to mention there have been several "blue-chip DT's" who have busted, like Gerard Warren, Ryan Sims, DeWayne Robertson, and Jonathan Sullivan, to know that there are no guarantees when you draft a player, "blue-chip" or otherwise.

The Bucs are closer to winning a championship than the Jets are. And Gruden is a WCO disciple, which would make for a much easier transition, again versus the Jets. That's what one has to do with the other. Not really. It's either trade him where he wants, or he'll show up to camp.
-
No way he plays for the Jets. If he doesn't want to play for the Bucs, why would he want to play for the Jets?
-
Trading him within the division is the latest word I heard. Apparently those 2 teams are the only ones Favre wants to play for if he's traded. And if Favre refuses to play for any other potential suitor, the Packers have no position of strength. But apparently the Bears don't want Favre "at this time." Not that they have any WR's worth a darn, which is why I'm puzzled by Favre wanting to go there. Garcia suffered a calf strain. Nothing too serious.
-
I don't think so. From the sounds of it, if he's not traded to one of those teams, he showing up to camp as a backup QB. That will create enormous headaches for them.
-
The Packers talked to the Jets and Bucs about trading for Favre, but Favre refuses to talk with those teams. He wants to be traded to the Bears or Vikings.

WR Terry Glenn is expected to sign with the Dolphins.

Or Testaverde. -
The only assumption that can be made from this peculiar scenario are that Peters is "healthy" but the groin injury has robbed him of some athletic ability (a la Spikes and his achilles injury) or that Peters has lost his desire to play football. Expecting to be paid a ton of money without showing up, much less proving you're back to your old self, is silly.

The Bills will sweep the Fins again this year. And likely next year as well. Outside of that, I couldn't care less what the Fins do or how great a team Parcells is assembling, minus the need for a veteran QB. -
I can only imagine the posts had Losman said the same thing.

"Let alone" as in "not to mention." Hope that relieves your frustration a bit. And good job changing "your" to "you're" Mr. Wonderful, otherwise you would have made ropeerasers frustrated again. -

The Fins will be lucky to win a game in the division, let alone more than 1 outside of it. -

The problem is that their defense is still largely devoid of talent, lost their best player, and will be moving to the 3-4. And they don't have a veteran QB, which screws them right from the start. I expect them to be picking 1st overall again next year. -
Lynch and Jackson in the downfield passing game

Hopefully, and unlike with Fairchild, these guys will actually get to catch the ball during games. -
So the LDT will play 3-tech and the RDT will play 2-tech, because that's where Stroud played, and played extremely well, in Jax the past 7 years. Sounds good to me. Also like reading this: "Stroud excels against the run." So much for the "he's only a gap-splitter" theorists.
