I want to see what Steve Johnson can do with the 1st team. These guys add much-needed size to the WR corps. Personally I think that Josh Reed's days are numbered, but that he probably has this year since having Hardy and Johnson in the lineup is too much inexperience for the offense to bear.

Hardy said that when he scores a TD, he wants to act like he's been there before. I can't find the link but it was reported only a couple days ago. Hence the lack of emotion. BTW, when asked after the game about the TD, he said "It was great, but I'm still thinking about the drop and the missed assignments I had." Great response and yes he WAS probably thinking about his mistakes versus the TD catch.

Why help the Browns for what will probably be a late 4th round pick, at best?

When I saw it, it looked like it was off the mark. If he did muff it, then it's more concerning, but it could have been nerves and/or a "holy carp, I'm wide open!"

Fair enough. I was getting at the fact that it was his, and the Bills', first pre-season game, against a team who already had a game under their belts. And the 3rd down play is something I've seen Evans and Reed do plenty of times, while the false start is something that can easily be corrected, and the crossing route wasn't exactly a great pass by JP. He needs more real game experience, like he'll get during the rest of pre-season (well, as real as pre-season CAN get), but I'd rather see him start than not come opening day. He won't get better sitting on the bench.
