I'd add Byrd. I see Maybin rotating-in heavily, Nelson playing in 2-TE sets, and Harris maybe starting next year, unless he has a great camp, and the same goes for Ashlee Palmer.

Sanders has a history of getting the most from d-line

That's pretty sad. You'd rather cheat to win than win legitimately? -
Anyone Agree with Tim Graham on This?

Here is what Peters said when he reported to the Bills last year: That tells me that Parker had been telling Peters to show up much earlier, and probably at the latest for the start of training camp, and that the protracted holdout was Peters' decision and his decision alone. Peters got paid, just as he would have with the Bills although without revealing to the world how unprofessional, and dumb, he is. But the Bills got a 1st round draft pick for him, despite shockingly little interest in him (that is, for "the best LT in the NFL!"), so they didn't do "very very badly" unless Wood and Nelson are total busts. As I told spartacus, Peters will now have to play every down like he IS the best LT in football, to justify his contract and ego. If he doesn't, he'll get crucified by the fans and media, and it doesn't appear that he has the mental makeup to handle that. Toiling in the relative anonymity of Buffalo is a far cry from the harsh media fishbowl of Philly, and Peters will soon learn that cold hard fact. So we'll see who did "very very badly." -

That link actually proves my point, i.e. that Brandon started working on Peters' contract right after Evans', which was at the beginning of October. Peters wanted nothing to do with a new deal. -

Well the Packers lost DT Corey Williams, and had no one to replace him. And that's why IMHO going to a 3-4 without a proven NT will prove to be no better for them, if not worse. They also had numerous injuries, and got 0 sacks from KGB, compared to 10 in 2007 (Corey Williams took 7 sacks with him). But just because a guy isn't a good HC or coordinator, it doesn't mean he isn't a good coordinator or positional coach. The Packers decided Sanders wasn't a good DC and/or decided to go in a completely different direction. But it's not like they were going to demote Sanders to DL coach, and that's rarely ever done. Even moreso since he's not a 3-4 guy. -
I didn't find it to be anything special. And the face. But probably a very nice girl.

Would anyone care? Would it even be a loss? What?

So what if Sanders, as a 4-3 DC, was fired in favor of Capers, ad 3-4 DC? He'll be a DL coach with the Bills, who run a 4-3. Any other moot points you'd like to bring up? -

I'm still waiting for the link from you where Brandon says this. And again, it still doesn't excuse his performance and attitude. If he has another season in Philly like he did last year, he'll be crucified by the Philly media. He has a lot to live up to now and he'll be under tremendous pressure to produce. In Buffalo he could toil in relative anonymity. He's in for a huge culture shock. -
What was worth checking-out on that chick?

WTF is our leadership thinking WRT the situation in Honduras?

Believe me, I'm dismayed that I came to that conclusion this early. -

No, Brandon said he wouldn't talk to Peters about a new contract until he showed up first, and then after taking-care of Evans' contract, which happened at the beginning of October. And again, none of that excuses his poor play, and worse yet, his "who gives a F" attitude. You act and play like a professional no matter how much you make. -
No one "deserves" free health care. If you treat your body like sh--, you don't "deserve" anything. Unfortunately Obama thinks that the change should come from without, and not within, and that ultimately doctors, who provide the services, should be the ones paying for it in the form of lower reimbursements and taxes.

WTF is our leadership thinking WRT the situation in Honduras?
VOR replied to Fastback's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I voted for Obama, and am now woefully regretting my decision. From the laughable attempts to reform health care, to "underestimating how bad the economy was," to cozying-up to dictators, and now this. Regarding Honduras, while a coup is illegal, what Zelaya was trying to do was distribute rigged voting boxes that would allow him to change the Constitution and remove the presidental term limit, and thus become like Chavez (which is from whom Zelaya got the voting boxes). The military realized this and instead of letting the process play out, ousted him and installed a new civilian government. Basically one illegal act (coup) was trying to attempt another (rigged voting boxes), which would have led to the Constitution being changed. Naively defending "the Constitution of Honduras" and not seeing the larger picture, which can describe their efforts overall to date, is what troubles me the most WRT this administration. -
I am convinced Buffalo had its best draft in 25 years

Whitner's contract runs through 2010. Good detective work, boys. -
Yeah, I see Scott staying, and probably over Simpson. As for the Bills not re-signing their CB's, take a look around and see just exactly how many teams re-sign their expensive CB's.

When a player sits-out the entire off- and pre-season, decides to come back the day before the season starts, plays like crap and doesn't give a sh-- that he does, he doesn't deserve a huge new contract. Other guys actually showed-up to off-season activities, and then got paid. Good riddance. -
A better defense wouldn't have hurt. But when the offense is 23rd in points scored, the problem was mostly on offense.

Yeah...that's not so great.

Tim Graham defends the Patriots claim to

It all depends on your frame of reference. Take Michael Vick. He was raised believing that killing dogs was no big deal. "Everyone [in the deep South] did it!" -

LOL! Only delusional Patriots fans believe that stripping a team of their titles isn't much worse than there being suspicion of cheating. That's easily the dumbest thing I've heard yet. -

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Who said anything about "willfully let[ting] themselves get ripped off by one owner?" Who said that the NFL knew about the illegal videotaping prior to 2006, when the clarification was sent to teams after the Patriots were first caught doing it and warned? Or even that Kraft was involved in Belichick's decision to illegally videotape? Talk about a straw man! The NFL ruled that the Patriots committed a most serious trangression, hence nailing them with the maximum penalty. Then Goodell hurriedly destroyed the evidence and the NFL closed ranks in what I said was a "business decision" and not a "conspiracy." Again stripping the Patriots of their titles would have been far worse than doing what they did, which was allowing there to be suspicion, but trying to counter by disseminating the "nothing to see here, move along" company line. The damage/ripping-off had already been done and the point was to lessen further damage. What you are advocating is like saying OJ would have been no worse-off being found guilty and going to jail, than everyone suspecting he was guilty while he was a free man and continued to profess his innocence. That's just plain bonkers, man! "Obviously the weapon---they are not going to let it skate." Thank you and end of discussion. Tank Johnson was suspended for violating his probation, from previously being found to have had an illegal gun in his SUV. You know, being a repeat offender. Lynch has never had a gun charge, or any other criminal charge. Just the egregious "bringing his own booze into bars" and hitting a drunk chick who should have known better than to be out at 2 AM and watch her friend dance in the street and not where she was walking (the "Donte Stallworth" defense). -
I've been saying all along that the Bills' problems last year were on offense and that the defense kept the Bills in every game, except against the Cards. The addition of TO should prove huge, and I think Rhodes will add a lot as a short-yardage back.

I can think of worse ways to go.

Technically correct. Although the media did go through the house he was planning to rent, after which he cancelled the agreement.
