  1. Per Beasley it was “partially” broken , implying cracked as you stated. Would have a callous of fibrous tissue , calcium being laid down within a couple weeks. The fibula is a NON-WEIGHT bearing bone. So with some padding, taping by the great trainers available , it is definitely an injury you could run with. Main risk is getting hit right there again, however , with the callous formation it’s likely that area would be as strong or stronger than areas proximal/ distal to it. Also it would be anc area you could do a local block with a long acting anesthetic that might last 4-6 hours or so. Would explain how he was able to look so good in the game. Not taking anything away from him as I think other than diggs,he was by far our next best receiver. If there is a fracture you could still play with ( non- displaced , probable hairline fracture) a fracture of the non weight bearing fibula is one you could play with after a week or two of healing depending on pain tolerance. . Gutsy thing to do but not likely to do any further damage running on it ( had to be medically cleared to be out there ). in contrast to moss injury involving the soft tissue tear between fibula/tibia that is responsible for stability of the ankle. Just an example of how some soft tissue injuries can be more debilitating than a clean, partial bone fracture. Just explaining how Beas could play and why moss.had his season ended. 😊
  2. The great 90’s teams wen thru this incremental experience process. They also lost an afc championship before moving on.the following year. Josh look underprepared today. Mahomes was confident having gone farther and the difference in confidence was obvious. If josh can improve half as much as he did going from his 2 Nd to third year, with the right talent around him , and hopefully a different d coordinator or at least diff scheme, we should at least be competitive in the afc championship! Big step to win that afc game. Next year josh will have been exposed to more and let’s hope they get a run game and a aggressive D coordinator. Building blocks are there but csnt win without offensive-balance ( elway and Marino are examples each way). Big issue that 90s team never dealt with was salary cap tho. So Beane will have to do his manic again. Bad thing is we can never reverse trading that 10 th pick to Kc! Looks like that will haunt us yet another year ! Lol! Love josh but just like wide right , mahomes may haunt us like Brady. Hey , but josh is a great guy and has raised big$ for the children’s hospital there so some things are bigger than football. If you get down , after covid, go volunteer some time in that pedi unit and you will realize seeing a child smile or recover will always top a fake thing like a SB TROPHY! Real lives matter to those parents and some kids will get a chance to grow up, go to a prom, go to college , all because of josh and his grandmother getting money donated. That is true and lasting joy and pride for Bills fans, Bills Mafia, and Buffalo! 😉😇😊👏
  3. JA will learn like Kelly did. He does have to stop that terrible habit of while in the grasp, continuing to run backwards, or turn his back to the LOS. SEVERAL times in his career he has taken massive losses that could have been minimized and they kill drives or knock us out if fg position. He keeps saying he can’t do that yet he can’t seem to use good judgement when under duress. Been a weakness for 3 years. Fixed his accuracy so why this hasn’t been coached out of him by now is hard to fathom. Daboll may be too soft, maybe josh needs some tough love as I can’t see Belichick letting that habit go on so long. This was a lost opportunity as.Davis was not 100% , and as a rookie I am disappointed Mcd didn’t have the guts to try stills Probably would have produced more than 0 catches. Also not bringing up Williams after his play against the fins , esp with moss out , is a Mcd d classic move. Yeldon did ok so again why did he see snaps in only 2 games this year ? That’s what frustrates me so much. Not guaranteed to get back;here , and squandered trying something;b different when the other backs had been poor all year. Reid td guys in places to be successful and not afraid to shift guys in/ out of lineup. Mcd was out coached again , and Daboll / Frazier both had two of their worst game plans of the year. Someone needs to stand up to Mcd about Edmunds. Use him outside. We are wasting a talent. Get a real mlb like white from Tampa. Moving edmunds to sm inside lb position has failed. He can rush from the edge, cover outside on one side of the field. But he is lost in gaps as a mlb and he can’t rush up the middle. Again white has 9 sacks before today’s game. Edmunds has like what , 3-4. Plus he arm tackles and is driven backwards most times on short yardage plays. Just being misused. Milano is good but undersized. I would retain him but only at the right price. Tre had an off year as well. On deep passes qbs had a 107 rating against him according to nfl network today pregame. His deep ball awareness needs worked on. Maybe many things were from no camp but all other clubs faces the same. Finally, we either need to go to a base 4-3 to match up better with tight ends or find our own honeybadger to match up with tight ends. Our d was exposed in lots of areas. I think Tampa, Gb, possibly Cleveland all were playing balanced and could have beaten us. We got lucky playing two other mostly one dimensional teams. After the score became 14-9 , we never mounted any serious threats so we can’t look thru rose colored glasses, it was not as close as final score considering we recovered an onside kick and a muffed fumble at the three. We stopped them on exactly ONE DRIVE. Last year Beane noted we needed to score more. Now we need balance with a run gsme, need some pass rush, need a MLB who can get tackles for loss, stop the run, and be able to disengage from blockers., and either a rusher or second premier cb if we can’t get sacks. Year 5 for Mcd. Needs to get back to conference championship or better. The cess needs to proceed, and I believe he needs some new defensive input as the d has stagnated. O still showing growth. , keep dabs. it will be interesting to see how quickly urban Myer turns around Jax. Will it take him 4 years to reach afc title game? Great measuring stick! Myer is huge process guy , ABOVE THE LINE CREED HE COACHES AND LIVES BY Good book to read. Can’t wait to see!
  4. So it took two losses and a full season to figure out KC had speed, after they were dropping safeties 20 yards of Los the first game. Watching them last year win the SB was not a key to their speed? Speed didn’t blitz josh. Speed didn’t shut down the offense or make us a horrible running team. Lots more needed than speed to compete with Kc. Need some way to pressure qb, some way to handle blitzes, Backs that can pass protect and catch for example. Lol! Gotta laugh cuz if it took this to know KC had a lot of speed , our process needs to learn how to speed read! 😀😉
  5. I agree with all your points but question the need to not hold Frazier accountable. This was a game coming in where the previous game kelce had dropped two tds on us. To let him come off the line untouched, catch 10 balls in the first half, NEVER FORCE MORE THAN A SINGLE PUNT OR STOP MORE THAN ONE DRIVE WITHOUT GIVING SOME POINTS, is being terribly out coached. Look at KCS D, they were very aggressive against the #1 qb supposedly against the blitz. Pressure killed josh once more( at least two huge yardage loss sacks, an int, an intentional grounding, two other balls that barely missed being picked ) and I wish Frazier / Mcd would coach that way. I know PM is good, but getting 0 sacks, almost no pressure , no deflected passes etc, was a path to a second essential blow out. This reminded me of Mcd being owned by Belichick until this year. Reid owned / owns him now. Our o improved , Allen improved dramatically while our d looked quite bad in all our losses. Frazier had no answer for kc or the titans , barely got by the colts only because Frank left 10 points on the field, and we got by the pats with a fumble . I also believe edmunds is being misused. Please move him outside, where he could be another bisquit! Get a real MLB like white from Tampa! I wish we would get a more Aggressive D coordinator to influence McD. I hope Frazier gets the Texas job as I don’t see Mcd ever having the strength to make a change unless forced on him by an o UPWARD move for a coordinator. This is one time his culture may hold him back. Sometimes you need to move on. With you on everything else but this game was my last straw of support for quiet, passive Frazier. Nice, great ,man. Avg at best DC. I don’t think it was a huge talent gap, just that our talent now is being misused.
  6. Also neeD another good db. Maybe Jackson is one. But I would even like him in the nickle position cuz he is physical! So speed needed outside necessary. We could have an elite Rusher if they just quit the failed experiment of edmunds as mlb. WaTch a great lb , white from Tampa, who covers, tackles, makes sacks((9 so far) , while we have our MLB dropping in coverage way too much. Move edmunds and get a line backer which might be there around #30 in the draft. Plus edmunds could hit kelce more easily from olb than mlb position. But as it stands , we have no answer for good tight ends. Kasicie ( sp) killed us as well. Going to have to find a way to match up with him and kelce. Maybe look for nickle who is very physical, or get another lb larger than Milano who can match up. But the bar is set. We can’t keep getting killed by tight ends and we have to get a rb that is better than singletary, who also blew pass blitz pickup and got josh nailed on one play. It’s obvious Devin is not a quality nfl back. Poor after contact, prone to drops in big games( did same drop when wide open in Tenn game) and can’t pass protect. Beane has his work cut out. Murphy will be gone. Gaines and Starr already on roster as they opted out this year! So drafting around 30, I think it’s easier to get quality LB than ant premier rusher. Plus we just drafted our impressive epenesa last year early. They look to be better qualified at evaluating LBS than dl’s. About the wr’s. Let’s see how off season goes. Prefer to get another vet than draft. Plus we will have KENNY STILLS already. What frustrates me is Davis was obviously not100%, yet Mcd refused to take a chance on stills. Also we saw Yeldon for 2 Nd gsme only and he was better in both games ( tho both losses) than Devin. Yet Mcd refused to use him all season. Mcd needs to learn like Reid to not be afraid to try changes. He refuses, with another example being Williams vs Miami. Why not bring him up when Devin is avg less than 3.5 yards a Carry? Not like sitting Devin is like sitting Thurman. I just don’t get mcds reticence to try new things when run game was poor and Davis , a rookie, was not 100%. Some of these things make you scratch your head. Mcd struggles being aggressive, even admitted he prob should have not kicked the second fg, but should have gone for it. Draft all the talent you want, but if you are afraid to try using it , the process sure gets frustrating At times. There is no guarantee we will be back here next year. Think we wasted a chance, got out classed, out coached, so hope the coaches do learn ( yet our coordinators have Super Bowl experience already) !
  7. Let’s see how he does during off-season. Would not be surprised if both he and Beas get scoped. Plus who replaces that speed? Better have solution before cutting people. How bout we get a running game so dbs and safeties have to worry about the run. Now they never need to even think of looking in backfield. Let’s fix run game, then see how receivers do. We are the passing version of the Ravens. Browns played them better cuz they are balanced. This was coming as we were lucky to beat colts with 10. Min. TOP DEFICIT !
  8. Just asking , not being argumentative. So if that’s not working do you keep sitting w same scheme? What do you have to lose when two receivers have over ten catches. Also Kelce with 2 tds again like week 6 , so I guess no lessons learned!? At what point do you just change , send people and see what happens? A few times under pressure he made errant throws, but I think we had 0 sacks, so we were satisfied with him moving or just sitting back there. Strange plan again and we were beaten worse than first game. Shows you have to be balanced on offense as we became one dimensional Baltimorethis week. We were never back in gsme when it became 14-9. I think both coordinators had poor performances. Reid is creative and what a contrast Real contrast was on d tho. Josh was contained , and once again confused by blitzing. Keeps sAying “ I can’t do that,,,,,,so& so” for three years but again takes two huge negative sacks, almost a third when he barely got pass off while OOB, and I think had another intentional grounding. Maybe he will learn. This level looked too big for him and mahomes experience put him miles ahead. Hopefully it’s one more learinh step. I sure wish he would quit taking 25 yard drive, scoring drive. Mostly I blame on Daboll tho. Knew blitzes were coming and gave josh no answers. Or perhaps he is too close to josh and avoids chewing him out a little , like hard love. Had one pick and almost two others. Pressure does that. Why do other teams get that but Frazier / Mcd refuse to accept it. Frustrating game plan. Out schemed on both sides of the ball. Special teams tho did well ! 😀
  9. I truly apologize and didn’t mean to single you out in any mean spirited way. I was up late and probably grumpy from not sleeping well as I just have an uneasy feeling about this game. I agree there have Been many posts similar to your POV. So in no way did I intend to just attack or go after you on any personal basis. I just was reading so many posts saying how we have won the past two games so why worry or change anything and many are saying we will easily beat the Chiefs. Not many professional , less biased analysts, are giving us much of a hope of even keeping this game close. Fans tend to look thru rose colored glasses, a win is a win thing. I was just tying to point out the Colts Best us in Top by. 10 min , and had zero turnovers , left 10 points out there , and we held on by knocking down a Hail Mary. Maybe not a great game plan to look at and say, hey it’s ok, we won! 😊 I don’t think we can be something we are not, we are not a run oriented team. But maybe we better try to get something out of the run game ( we could afford to be one dimensional against another one dimensional Ravens team who was unlikely to blow us out) so we don’t allow mahomes an extra 10 min TOP, cuz I think that is a way we can be blown out. So if it takes Allen runnin more, maybe bringing up Williams , heck brining up Stills or Duke to throw bubble screens or short crossing routes to, we need to game plan better/ differently than the prior two games. We need to somehow extend drives to decrease how many opportunities the chiefs have to score. They have more weapons than we do, period. Going to be a tough game to win that I think comes down to coaching adjustments. Please accept my apology , should have made it just a topic and not quoted you because you are right and that was not fair. 😊. This game is making me edgy ! Lol !
  10. Any game played is “ fair and square” , injures are part of the game. Does this mean we will be hearing from our fans if Davis doesn’t play, or if Beasley is hurt , or if smoke reinjures the knee , or the fact that moss is totally out that the game was not fair and square ? Do you think you ll hear one Chief fan make excuses for a win because the Bills didn’t have moss, or Davis ? Hardly. Plus don’t kid yourself or be naive that the Bills will avoid trying to test the turf toe or hit mahomes any chance they get just to see if perhaps they can get him out of the game. Man , that’s what the game of football is. Have the giants ever apologized because hostetler beat us in SB 25 , because it wasn’t fair and square to play without Sims? All this self righteousness by Bills fans is laughable and foolishness. Same fans have complained how the BILLS don’t get CREDIT for having the roughest road compared to the remaining teams, now want fairness by having Mahomes play. Maybe we should postpone the game until his turf toe is gone so things will fair, it’s the same argument. Look , injuries and how you deal and plan for them are part of the process and this teams that overcome them move on and If they lose there is no asterisk in the record book! Just like there is No GOLD STAR added because you beat a team with all their starters! Will, you feel better if we lose because Mahomes threw 4 td passes or if he missed the game and we went on to the super bowl and actually brought the Lombardy home finally? Their rb CEH, who killed us the first game is not 100%, so if we win I don’t think it would be “ fair” for you to enjoy the win or celebrate at the airport or go to Sb 55! Bills fans kill me, after 25 years of lousy teams , no playoff wins , now we are SO GOOD , SO MORALLY SUPERIOR, WE NEED TO QUALIFY OUR WINS by making sure the other team had their best chance to beat us! I don’t care if half their team misses the game because they got some bad chicken and had diarrhea all, day; I will celebrate a win because that’s how it works in the NFL. You play who is out there. Hey did Kc qualify the week 6 win with all the covid rescheduling , our LB crew decimated by injuries , Josh playing with an injured shoulder, Wallace out with an injury? Is here an Asterisk in record book noting all that ,,,,,, or have we heard all week on every show how the Chiefs ran all over us and almost every so called expert smirking when asked how can the Bills make this competitive? Yeah , almost none give us a shot to win but our main concern is let’s be sure the Chefs have a fair shot and they are at their best despite our own players dealing with injuries or recovering from ankle surgery! Hey, it’s ok if we lose as long as it was fair and mahomes gets a second shot another SB win! Screw thAt ! Where the heck can I find the phone number of the guy who took out Nancy Kerrigan? Hmm, Mahooley........😊😂😜. Man I just want us to win, we can worry about fairness and quality of win during our second run! Just remember that old saying ,,,,,been around forever for a reason ,,,BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR! Go BILLS , SCREW EVERYBODY ELSE , ESPECIALLY THE CHIEFS !
  11. I did the same. Was Pasadena on the end zone , end line where Beebe knocked the ball out of Leon’s hand. I was across the field but had a great view of it. Micheal Jackson was halftime show. I still have a whole poster of in cut cards beomf printed any sold outside the stadium. In Atlanta I went to the NFL experience and met the Jags owner as he was buying the Jaguar helmet being painted by peter maxx. Seats there were not as good , but at least we were leading at halftime. The. Thurman fumbled and things went down hill. Last time I checked the tickets are now several thousand dollars like 8-10 k for those types of seats. With covid I bet the price will soar. Well.at least seven made it a.couple of times ! 😉😀
  12. You look at things from a very narrow minded POV. Listen to someone who knows more than either of us, someone who has played , is an analyst for a living. For example listen to Chris sims and his father Phil. Both categorically said the Colts kicked the Bills ass all around the field and the Bills got fortunate, colts leaving 10 easy points on the field. The Colts were a more balanced team and probably should have won. They outgunned us by almost 100 yards and won the TOP by just under 10 min. We won 27-24. It’s great we found a way to win, but KC is much more balanced. We didn’t fear the deep ball with rivers; against Lamar we only had to stop the run. Two games where our defense could focus on taking away the run , and we still came close to Rivers beating us only losing on a failed Hail Mary. Our O struggled against the Ravens putting up 10 points! If our O only puts up 10 points this week, I am sure we will be in trouble. Kc can run , their qb can scramble, they have a great tight end and they have deep speed with Mahomes able to hit anyone at any place in the field. Both Sims stated the Browns offense AT THIS POINT, is more dynamic than Buffalos offense. Hard to argue as they have two good running backs , a good tight end, Landry , Higgins and more. Buffalo has diggs,,,,brown is improving , Beasley is hurt( even sims pointed out he ran the same route almost 100%), Davis possibly hurt , moss out, Knox is still Knox and inconsistent, devin is an avg back and they just use him as a safety valve and maybe 1-2 screen attempts a game. Even with a good running game, Kc still out gained the Browns by over 100 yards and Kc managed a 22-17 win. HOWEVER, The browns run game kept Kc off the field. Do you know what the TOP DIFFERENTIAL WAS? Look it up. It was under ONE MINUTE.! Kc just over 30 min and cleveland just over 29 min. There was no 10 min DEFICIT TOP LIke WE Had IN THE COLTS GAME ! So make fun or belittle the poster suggesting not having a run game MAY BECOME AN ISSUE. FACT; Our passing game has struggled the past two weeks. It might be because we have injuries, or it might be because we are so one dimensional that it is getting easier to defend our passing game. One thing running does do is chew up clock and help limit KC’s possessions. Right NOW , our passing game alone is struggling,,,10 points last week. I hope our passing game finds its prime again. I hope our short passing game is on because I am pretty sure Kc will take away the deep gsme like they did against us before. Some semblance of a running game could be huge for us., including Allen running. If we can get close to 100 yards I think it will keep the TOP close enough so we limit their opportunities to score and increase our opportunities. If we are so one dimensional that we lose the TOP by ten min like we did against the Colts , I am pretty sure lightning won’t strike twice with us squeaking out a 3 point win. I get your argument , well we still won. Well, every week and every game is different.Let’s try to be objective, look a little more in depth. I sure can’t see any negative if we can run the ball, but I do see a potential problem if we only pass the ball. The remaining teams are balanced. I hope we can be that anomaly that wins only passing. I just think our chances improve with being able to run as well. 😉
  13. Hmmm , grip a little separated, stance is pretty wide, closed despite open club face. Balance seems like she is leaning forward quite a bit, maybe because her hair is blocking her line of sight to the ball. Just with a QUICK glance, not seeing how she moves her hips, how she keeps her head down etc, she probably has some game to work with. Being a Bills fan from even before the SB years, and having been the captain of my high school golf team, I an obviously qualified to volunteer some time to help her work on that swing and I have lots of Bills memorabilia, jerseys to try on etc so she doesn’t feel left out ! Golf is a solitary sport, so she probably doesn’t have many people to turn to for both good golf and great Bills knowledge all in one place. Hey I live 2 min up the street from the TPC at Sawgrass, SO if you happen to be in the area,,,,,,,,,😇😎
  14. Before anything , have to say Joe Fergy was one of my favorite past Bills. He was always exciting and a tough QB. I wish I could feel so relaxed. I guess it’s possible to feel that way if you feel this is enough, we exceeded expectations so whatever happens now is “ gravy”. I can understand that but I’ve been around since the 60’s so I’ve seen some really great things and I’ve seen more than a fans fair share of bad things like music city miracle and hail Murray’s. All this has reinforced one thing; it’s been an amazing season , one of the best in Bills history, and by acknowledging that, it is proof just how rare this moment is. Not only is talent involved but luck is important like avoiding critical injuries, the ball bouncing off the uprights, recovering a key fumble, etc. Philip Rivers can attest to that as he ended his 17 year career today with 0 titles, 0 appearances in the SB. So I feel a little Nervous because a lot has gone into this season to get us here. Two good opponents pushed us and while we won and are learning how to win, our strength which is our Offense has not had convincing performances as we moved forward. Our receivers seemed dinged up and honestly , I don’t remember a good Bills team who has had an almost non existent run game like we saw these two weeks. We have to travel to face the defending champions who have been thru the learning process of overcoming a deficit in a SB to win the one title our Franchise has never accomplished. They will have Mahomes ( no protocol will be enforced by the NFL to make its largest star sit out, too much money from networks /Vegas / advertisers/ sponsers at stake), with a great tight end, good receiving Corp, and perhaps the best head coach this side of Belichick who already out-coached us once this year. So far, out of the remaining 4 teams, most experts are downplaying our chances and we are the only team with a QB with no SB Experience or SB WIN. Just looking at those facts it does seem like odds are against us going further. But we have kept winning. We keep making just enough plays to overcome mistakes or inexperience. So in my heart, I selfishly won’t feel content because we got to the AFC championship. We are there now, so knowing how hard it is to get there, how special this run has been with this record matching our best ever, it does feel like we could actually do this. I don’t believe this team will be satisfied just making this game and I think they would feel crushed after getting to this point if it should slip away. So I am not in a zen state. Really happy we are relevant, but all the “lost” years are still a big burden and I so wish to put that all to rest. The lack of running is worrisome; I think it’s hard to be one dimensional and hope Daboll brings out his creativity, which has been toned down recently. Can Frazier be a magician like he was last week ? We are SO CLOSE, in a position we haven’t experienced since 1994. I was at that SB in 94; I wish I could convey how amazing it is to be one of the final two standing! I don’t know the feeling of winning a SB, unlike the fans of the other 3 remaining teams. I remember walking down the ramps in Atlanta being heckled by Cowboy fans after losing our halftime lead and letting one final SB get away. I just know how evasive winning it all has been. I admire people who are relaxed , zen like , believing we will roll the Chiefs etc. I believe we can win, but after so many years of falling short, I think this game is about solving an offense that is prolific and balanced. Mahomes can pass, scramble , throw to any part of the field ( rivers & Lamar couldn’t do that ), is experienced and not prone to panic or turnovers. Can Allen keep his calm, stay confident, stay patient, avoid fumbles , avoid hero ball and not take sacks that push us out of fg range? I think the answer is yes if we can get at least some help from the run game. That’s what makes me nervous. I think Allen and this team do have enough talent to win it all. I have to be honest tho, the one dimensional aspect of placing everything on Josh seems like our Achilles heel. I really have grown to love this teams sense of playing for each other, and I want them to experience the joy of going to the SB! So I’m having trouble shaking anxiety as I am hoping Frazier can scheme enough to derail the Maholmes train, and we overcome our difficulty running just enough to let Josh be the best Josh he can be ! So we finally get to feel the zen of winning it all ! I have waited 50 years for that feeling and we are just two games from experiencing it! It’s like studying or prepping for a huge test at the end of the year that is worth 50% of your grade; you’ve put in the hard work but is it enough to make that final grade the pass you need to move ahead one more step ?! Whew,,,,pressure ! Let’s go BUFF LO ! 😀😉
  15. Yes , fibula as femur is the thigh bone above the knee. This procedure stabilizes the ankle mortise ( joint composed of smaller non weight bearing fibula , talus which allows the ankle to dorsiflex up and plantar flex down like pushing a gas pedal, and larger weight bearing tibia) so there is no lateral ( side to side) movement. There is a ligament or interosseous membrane of connective tissue that stabilizes or holds the fibula and tibia together so there is no large gap between them and provides stability against torsion or twisting forces between those two lower leg bones. In a High ankle sprain , that membrane or interosseous ligament is disrupted requiring long healing periods and is responsible for pain , edema , etc being worse than the more common grade 1 of 2 sprains seen when someone one rolls their ankle. Think of stepping off a curb wrongly as Your foot rolls inward toward your other foot and you get pain and swelling along the outside o your ankle. Those sprains heel within 2-4 weeks. Add a torquing force transmitted above the ankle joint itself and the tibia / fibula syndesmosis ( fibrous material / joint ) gets separated or torn going up the middle part of the shin area, resulting in instability with any lateral ( side to side ) force applied to the ankle. Imagine how a running back has to stop and cut and imagine how much force that would create to either side of the ankle depending on the direction he was cutting. So to stabilize those two bones against lateral forces, they drill a hole , through and through, each bone ( tibia/ fibula, 2 holes in each in a straight line), thread a cable thru the holes with “ buttons” on the ends of the cable and draw the cable tight to prevent either tibia or fibula from moving laterally. Once healed , you have a tight ankle joint ( mortise) that would be much less likely to roll, sprain etc , but still has up/ down normal movement! And without the multiple screws that you might see in a compound fractured ankle. Amazing orthopedic technology. Moss will be great next year and this procedure will increase his ypc to 6-7! ( jk😀,but he should heal more quickly and get back to his normal business decision self).
  16. I know. Just kind of having fun , tongue in cheek. 😂😀. It’s been forever since we have still been relevant this time of year. Usually we are listening to talk about draft order , prospects, needs, what can we look forward to next year! I understand the point and just was thinking for once in so long we are actually able to turn on sports talk shows in January and we have a game to look forward we are playing in! We are still talking x’s&o’s , matchups, who will we make active etc! Feels great, right!? All of us are still circling the wagons as we enjoy the fun and excitement this team has given us this year ! Sure has been a good ride and I have enjoyed seeing Bills fans so happy. I experienced the 90’s as it was a prime time of my life. My Med career was just taking off , family was happy , my dad was still alive ( went to SB 28 with my dad, Saturday happened to be the 20 th anniversary of his passing from cancer and it made me think of him and maybe he was looking down and helped TJ return it for 6!), life was amazing. Some great Bills fans are too young to have felt this type of joy being a Bills fan or see the joy in their hometowns. So I was just thinking, go all in , it really does feel “real” this time as this is what being part of a winning franchise feels like! This is it, as good as the fan feeling gets, so don’t doubt it! Bask in it cuz it doesn’t come around often unless you happen to experience TB12, the 1& only GOAT! This feels just as legit as any of the 90’s teams, with many of those Bills going on to HOF recognition. I know you are a great fan cuz you’re here, and just cuz I have been there, done that, I was hoping to convey that it’s a legit time to put doubt aside! It’s a great time to be alive ( we will get a handle on covid based on my years of science training) and a great time to be a Bills Believer! I apologize if I said anything stupid and I hope we both have a memorable AFC CHAMPIONSHIP weekend, and I would love that feeling of BUFFALOS GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL one more time!😀😉💪🏻👏👍 Best wishes my Bills Friend!
  17. Wow. I am shocked. Would have bet huge bucks daboll was prime fit for this job. Good news is I’m glad to be wrong as we still have a shot of retaining our staff fully intact fir another run. Good for us !
  18. Feels so good , we built it brick by brick. The process , the hard work , build from ground up way! Develop your core rookies way! Contrast that to the mercenaries of Tampa, cheapen the meaning of team/ culture way. Get out your wallet and buy the “ guns for hire” ; Brady, fournette, gronk, creepy/ criminal Antonio brown, suh, etc. How can you really cheer for a team like this? They will be gone next year and it’s not meaningful like it is for a team like the blue collar bills. Mcd / Beane , who picked most of this talent from draft or from teams who had given up on these guys, truly did it their way! This way feels like it truly does have meaning. Teammates who care for each other and became the best versions of themselves! Not some I just want to play for a contender only mentality. If there is such a thing as karma, justice for the regular guy, we Bills mafia should be represented in Tampa, 30 years after “ wide right” , getting ready to start a new narrative of victory for the next generation of the most loyal fans in the world ! 😀👍
  19. Next national commercial is Josh saying “ I am going to Disney world”! ( soon as it’s open , and I get my ——-covid vaccine . Throw in variation for moderna, pfizer, J&J, etc! ). 😎😉
  20. Isn’t saying “ I won’t doubt this team again “. , followed immediately by “ I wouldn’t predict a Super Bowl win” , actually an oxymoron or doubting the team again!? 😀. Just thinking you are either part of circling the wagons or you are outside the circle! Can’t straddle the line my friend as a true believer, after waiting a quarter of a century to experience how it feels to know your team has a legit chance to finally hoist the Lombardi! Finally putting the phrase “ wide right” to rest so there will never be another generation.of Bills Mafia who cringe at that phrase! Don’t doubt, don’t go into the game thinking “ we’d lose”! I was around for all 4 SB losses , plus much more.heartbreak over 35 years, and I can tell you this is how it feels to be an all in fan for a legit WINNING , SB bound Bills team at the beginning of our next dynasty, the next 4 in a row AFC CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETING CLUB BECAUSE WE HAVE OUR FRANCHISE QB! So if you mean “ I won’t doubt this team again” , then help circle those wagons and don’t doubt this team again! 😀👍🍸💪🏻
  21. I was exchanging tweets with Janine ( ja9) Talley yesterday prior to the game. She tweeted about Bruce and Darryl dicussing gap control and asked how the rest of bills fans were doing. Was nice exchange. So I assume Darryl and Bruce were enjoying the day greatly. Tim grahmn had Darryl on his podcast earlier I. The week dicussung Baltimore. Was great seeing Darryl. He actually said it was Kelly’s fault and not Harmon dropping the pass in the 89 game, said ball was overthrown. Grahmn said he would revisit the video. Can check the podcast. Darryl looked good. I miss his intensity / leadership. Nobody looks as good in spidey spandex!
  22. This plus Lawrence , huge cap space, two first round picks and I think 9 picks overall. An owner willing to spend money, is patient, and one who will be willing to give control to a coach who is a proven winner. Coughlin was great to start the franchise as it was 2 years of organizing before even playing the first game. Then he went with a good d coordinator in delrio, but no HC experience. Made another crazy pick with Gus Bradley. Compounded it by hiring little known Marone after he quit on the Bills. Who hires a red flag guy like that ? Bradley, marone, del rio all had years to turn things around. Remember, Coughlin who had the most success down here was straight from Boston college, so Urban coming from larger div 1 schools will not be in over his head. The community has not supported the team well because after Coughlin left, the have had almost zero success. They lucked out with a year under Bortles but let’s face it a 10-3 win over the rebuilding Bills was nothing to build a dynasty on. If you haven’t read Urbans book, ABOVE THE LINE, it’s worth a read. It’s about his no nonsense philosophy on success and how he runs a locker room and holds everyone accountable. With the right staff, getting a bunch of new draft picks in , being able to draw free agents to a no state income tax environment, I bet he will have a winning record by his second year. He will be a big draw because of his success at Florida. Guy has a history of winning programs, anywhere he goes. If he stays 5 years it will be a great success given the turnover in the NFL and may get the franchise relevant again. Heck I would even travel the 15 min to go see the Bills kick the jags butt as urban builds them to relevance again !
  23. Let’s see how serious a candidate he is after today’s game. Every pre game show today is talking about how Ravens beat us last year and how we gave up so many yards to “ even Philip Rivers”, expecting the Ravens run game to be unstoppable. Hope Mcd and Frazier are up to this. Hell, i give up 300 yards passing to Lamar but I’d be darned if I would let them run for 250 plus and beat us running when everyone in the world knows they are a running team and we are “ weak” against the run. If Frazier let’s the d get run into the ground , I am rethinking him as a head coach. Calm is great , but winning is what you get those big bucks for !
