  1. Madden curse still playing a role!? Lol!
  2. Well, thats the point really. Our guys Need time to grow. Our rookies are good but need experience and it’s a long season. We are not getting home easily on the rush and we all saw what Ingram did to us week one. No way you get that value from a 6 th in next years draft. The AFC window just opened a little wider with this weeks injury train. Very disappointing to miss on A guy the Steelers were willing to give to an in conference competitor for such a worthless pick ! Hurts them, helps you to acquire a rusher like that. Many on the board were lamenting how bad it was to miss him in FA. ITS A myth that you need all those picks, and the Chiefs just got better by fixing a main thing they lacked in our first matchup this year and they are showing they are not giving up ! Put jones and Ingram together and suddenly with our weak o line, they can pressure Josh again like last year. LA and the Chiefs know it’s a do it now league CURRENTLY, and just holding on to late picks that can’t make a deep roster anyhow makes no sense. If LA gets a Lombardi ,who cares about 2 years from now ? We stand pat and two years from now our vets are older or gone , our rookies are finally seasoned but another opportunity has passed and we manage to just tread water. Getting a bonafide rusher or a legit guard is all we could hope for in this current window and we just missed again on two rushers. It is still a CURRENT, OBVIOUS NEED and we could have jettisoned Butler once and for all. How did Tampa win last year , pressuring Mahomes ! How do you beat Brady,,,,by pressuring TB12 and having corners pressure in man coverage according to Rodney Harrison. Who knows how Browns back injury may progress etc,,,speculating, but hurt while lifting is usually either a muscle strain/ tear OR it can be a damaged disc which many times lingers as a slow heal or can worsen due to its poor blood flow. Should we keep sitting and depend on Ike or worse, have to bring Ford back in? We have a couple glaring weak areas , with an ability to make roster moves by jettisoning guys who are constantly inactive. Bean is interested , so why be cheap worrying about “ potential” in future draft picks and go get a known entity?! How many lombardies do we have so far hoarding draft picks AFTER having our true franchise QB !? We have our QB, it’s time to finish and polish the roster for this years playoffs which you know are a sure lock in a very unique year with the AFC EAST so weak. Worry about potential from late picks later when you already have the luxury of a Lombardi !! If the deadline passes today , and we stand pat while it seems there are deals within reach, it’s doubling down on your weaknesses you know are there at the halfway mark of the season, and why not try to fix things that are not improving on their own? Dont be arrogant by sitting as your competition makes moves ; Titans sign Peterson and with a jones fracture it’s not impossible Henry returns in Jan IF it heals. Looks like we missed on nailing a get - home rusher, so do something about that O line before we hear sometime like Browns injury is worse than expected. Come on magic Beane, find a guy to help Josh stand in the pocket! 😀👍
  3. Great point ,,,,,maybe it was meant to be ,,,,,KC being exposed on national TV and not being completely up to the challenge! 😂👍. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving team of usually un-humble guys! Kind of like having one’s pants drop in the chill of a November night and everything wants to get Back to where it’s warm , kind of an inward reflex! Yep,,,,KC got served that humble penis feeling even while avoiding the loss. They failed to leave the same sizable impression as the prior twos years ,,,,,,,,yep, a serving ol humble penis after performance inadequacy! IOS from Apple may be onto something after is latest “ soft “ ware update! 👍😀😂
  4. Actually family practice and urgent care , so that covers just about any field to some extent. This iPad Pro is convenient but it really does take liberties with autocorrect. 😀😂
  5. Man I quit reading after ossicles. I do a lot of medical articles , journal reading on here but honestly in 35 years of medicine I have never come across a humble penis! Definite oxymoron! Gonna quit typing while behind on this thing. ! 😀
  6. Haha ! It was an iPad correction. Actually may be biased because it’s my iPad. Ossicles are bones of the middle ear that are attached to the tympanic membrane and convert those vibrations from sound/ pressure waves to the inner ear canals where they become neural impulses An example of an ossicle is the stapes. Man , iPads are terrible for making changes and making stuff up. Ossicles are in the middle ear.
  7. Watching KC struggle this year just reenforces for me how special it was for the Bills to do to 4 straight Super Bowls. That’s a feat I hope is never matched or diluted by another team accomplishing / matching it. Well, unless this version of the Bills would do it but I don’t think with free agency it’s possible to keep the talent needed together that long or keep the coaching staff from being poached as well. Nice to see Mahomes and company eat a little humble penis ( wow this iPad.has a mind of its own): this year as it looks like they have come to just expect to show up and win.
  8. Josh is pretty quiet , doesn’t want to say anything about the chiefs as they could meet again ! He is out of his element with the mannings but a lot more expressive in his pressers. He is pretty mature , well coached.
  9. At the annual “ catch colon cancer early” halftime public service , Bills own Stefon Diggs showed his leadership skills by encouraging Milano that the exam is only “Mildly uncomfortable “ when he demonstrated the typical screening scope insertion ! It’s about like being “ in a hurricane and experiencing a little moisture” , as the ever supportive captain offered even more encouragement typical of the Bills family like environment!
  10. We lost every game to them in one decade, so it’s like saying they should have at least given us one win ti be courteous! Josh basically trotted in and 2-3 guys were right there who coukd have stopped him but lacked the heart to do it. Quitting is classless! 😀🍸
  11. I feel ya cuz I think we all want to see them get some more sacks and be a legit run stoping team IN CRITICAL TIMES; they didn’t against Tennessee but they did come thru yesterday ! The one difference tho that I am really encouraged by is that this year they are CAUSING TURNOVERS and I think we lead the league at somewhere around a +13 differential! That is winning football and if they keep creating those 1-2 extra possessions in every game, I think it’s a formula we coukd actually bring a home a Lombardi with. At a pre game sponsored party in Pasadena for SB 27 I was at because of the ticket package, Hank Stramm was giving a talk on his opinion who would win, Bills or Cowboys. He said he had developed a formula he used to help him predict the winner. While he didn’t divulge his entire secret formula , he did say one part was turnover differential. He then went on to explain how he predicted the Cowboys were going to win SB 27 and he predicted a wide margin. I laughed thinking the game had passed him by and was ready to finally see the Bills third time was a charm story happen. Hank turned out to know football much better than I did and I never forgot how Important he thought turnovers differential was! This was back in early 93 , before we have been deluged with pregame shows, expert analysts, and analytics! Pretty craZy to have been at a dinner party with the guy who coined the matriculating the ball down the field line and get some insight into how football was their lives then. Classy , well dressed guy of course! Stood on a box behind his speaking podium, shorter than me and I’m 5’9”. 😀👍. True story so maybe this D can be real !
  12. This is Karma for-that POS VrAble and his insulting attempt at recreating the music city throw up crap! Have no sympathy for the team, hey , it’s a contact sport and this is a non life threatening inconvenience for Henry. No one would be crying if Josh was out a far as other fan bases, eg the classless Bills statements on the fins message boards. Honestly , running the guy to death is a set up for stress fractures etc so it’s not surprising some injury might happen just from his volume of work. So let’s see how Vrable coaches now and let’s see how frequently Tammy hill does his little Jordan ballerina move.. An NFL season has to include team depth, so let’s see how good the TitAns are really prepared. They have tied the Boys as my most Hated rivals. When they did the miracle, I was still a season tic holder for Jax in 99 and was one play away from watching my fav Bills come down here and I know they would have beaten that Jax team ( just like the tacks did and their fans were obnoxious, shich says something as jags stands tend to be filled with southern red necks who started drinking Monday nights to get ready for Sunday games! 😀. ). Sounds harsh but I supported the Jax franchise starting two years before the first game , and 99 was my final year as I just hated the interference it played watching my Bills and I bet I gave away or wasted 25% of my club seat tics anyhow For a multitude of reasons. Was paying 250$ a seat for two club seats on the 35 yard line , 8 rows from the visitors bench and field because I wanted to support Jax and knew the guys who originally started the bid before the team was awarded to Wayne Weaver. It was just ridiculous to be surrounded by drunks who had little football knowledge and literally screamed obscenities at the visiting bench for the entirety of games! I digress! But the Titan fans who came down right after that MSM to be here were just as bad ,and I have to admit that any thing that makes them suffer ( esp after another last second loss), just keeps tipping that lady justice scale back toward our Bills after years of agony! Lol! Hey , after following the Bills since 63, anything that might help them get back to the SB and win one before I die is a good thing 😂🍸
  13. Jax will be a bonafide , legit cake walk. Have been down here since before the. First year of the franchise and I can tell you this team currently is perhaps the worst ever and struggling with a college coach making a transition to the Nfl. I NEVER take a team or Bills game for granted as I have seen too many Billsy loses over almost 40 years of following them, but this team is a culture of losing that has been fostered by the current owner whose Main interest is his desire to be the London team and just assure his investment. He is clueless about football culture as an owner and has consistently made terrible choices for the franchise on the field product. It is unbelievable to see the most touted qb prospect in ages look unprepared, uninterested , emotionless etc. Bills have had issues down here sometimes , but they can sleep walk thru this game. Not worried. Josh Allen just announced as the third guest on tonight with the mannings ! Should be interesting! 😀
  14. No and it’s because we play them and if that happened and we lost to them, it would be a fireable offense that prob only Beane could survive. But Mitch needs this year mentally to get out from pressure and get his career back on track. Trust me , Mitch does not want to be anywhere else this year. Saints will be fine ; more likely Bree’s would return than Mitch get dealt there by Brandon.
  15. Yeah but this is the type of all in move that I think we wish the Bills would make on the afc side this year, esp now with Henry potentially done for the season. Does open the window more for us. Remember , all Miller has to do with 99 and Ramsey is help get a sack or strip sack etc for an extra possession for that offense and they could be a gsme or SB title. Should be some deals oit there to grab a guard , but sometimes it seems like we are a little too concerned about culture and offending guys on the team who are underperforming and may njot deserve their mental health above he teams playoff chances. Let’s see if Beane can help cement this O , or get an actual finisher on the d line prior to the deadline , or maybe he really still thinks they are a year away. Can’t be satisfied with how inconsistent that O is and its related to poor line play that should have been addressed in the off-season and not allowed to reach the debacle level it is now. They talk about all the support they have given Josh, yet they are letting him get hit, get balls batted , chased all day and requiring him to be the leading rusher as well. Afc is ripe for taking , why not shoot for it now? Rams move is admiral as NFL is a year to year , seize the present endeavor. Hey , how bout thise Bucks tho ; a little bit of a slow game against the nittony lions. Looks like we have a qb for the next year or two tho!
  16. Milano had quite a few big hits today and at least broke up passes or caused some drops today. He looked to be back to 100% and had burst hitting people that he lacked when he first came back.
  17. It’s not his fault he is not being used appropriately so far this year ! At least it didn’t bounce forward off that brick wall he has crafted with his hands and a chest after lifting all those weights ! A few Bills players made more mistakes than he did today ! He will be a great support on the PS when Stevenson comes off Ir and be a great moral support for the rookie in the playoffs ! That’s all I got so far. 😊
  18. No different than Mcd choosing to go for it on 4 th in tenn; was going for a POSSIBLE win on the road in a difficult venue, esp since our O was not scoring at will. Remember we only had 3 pints at half time. We all know how many times this o can suddenly for no reason go into periods where they just make mental errors, stall drives for quarters at a time etc. With their record he was risking nothing and was actually thinking a little out of the box and it worked as far as getting the chance he was hoping for, right ? Why can’t we ever or rarely ever stop two point conversions ? I bet we are one of the lower successful teams at stoping those and paradoxically, we are also quite bad at converting them ourselves and both things played out again today.
  19. Let me enlighten you just a little so you can be a better human being and hopefully it will even benefit people who care about you interact with you for one reason or another; have you ever experienced something totally out of your control, something that happened that you didn’t chose or Cause , but you still did something reflexive like coughing , or breathing , or half a heartbeat , or have a bowel movement ( eg like diarrhea) …….you get the idea? It’s like you experiencing some emotion to me writing this, you can’t help but feel something right ,,,,like who is this ass speaking to me or whatever you are thinking or feeling right as you see this !? Have you ever had a sore throat or caught a cold ,,,,,and did you chose willfully to have the symptoms associated with those viral illnesses? Perhaps you have NEVER experienced an illness and you are the first perfect human being God has created ( just betting the odds are pretty much against that , but at least thought I would ask ! )? Have you met or heard about any human beings with diabetes for example while you have been at least physically present ? Well, that’s how mental health works ; just like your heart beating and your brain stem triggering you to breathe , symptoms occur , real physical symptoms, that you never chose or asked for, or have any control over at least at some point and for some duration! If this guy had diabetes that suddenly elevated his sugar to dangerous levels , would you think he was pathetic because that happened even tho he may have never been diagnosed with diabetes before the first episode of uncontrolled blood sugar levels threatened his life, or do you know it was only possible to be his fault or the reaction to something he did ? Just asking as I don’t know your life experience at all, in all sincerity. That’s the analogy with mental health. No one CHOSES to have their heartbeat race, feel short of breath , break out in a cold sweat etc. It’s call physiology , neurotransmitters ( natural chemicals ) creating uncontrollable symptoms and feelings, and they can mimic things like a heart attack where the only way to differentiate them is with actual blood work being analyzed. What a concept ! I realize you are probably just being funny or sarcastic , but wanted to take the chance to help someone less enlightened than you to understand how mental health and a human central nervous system work. It’s like you having no control over your love of the Bills,,,,most of the time it’s a glorious thing but then there are things like Hail Murray or Music City Miracle ! That should probably break it down to something we all can relate to. Happy Halloween , and I wish that guy all the best as one human to another and it took courage to explain that publicly so he at least has some good character traits to build on ! 🍸👍
  20. Great story. It’s just amazing how some things are larger than life and you could never imagine realistically meeting Oj AFTER that trial etc. It just goes to show what a small world it is sometimes. Being in medicine , in family practice , urgent care , and a bunch of other things in 35 years of practice in Jax beach after growing up in the sticks of ohio, close to Steubenville ( not far. From Pittsburgh , but a coal mining , steel industry area once voted the most polluted city in the US, It is the hometown of Dean Martin tho! ) ) , turned out to be so surreal at times. I literally graduated from a consolidated HS with a graduating class of about 90 ( two prior HS classes combined as I was bussed an hour each way just cuz there were no people in the area !) Because Jax is a beach area the one main urgent care I was stationed at was about a min from the ocean.. So even tho Jax is not a hot spot , I still saw la fair amount of “celebrities “ come in. With jelly fish stings and fish hooks in them, lacerations etc. The Sb that was in Jax (35?) with the chiefs / eagles was one last thing I will remember about memorabilia and even some Bills things surrounding it. The Nike PR person came in with a sore throat the Thursday before the game. While treating her she was very kind and asked if I was going to the game. I wasn’t but she was so nice she came back the next day with 4 boxed, gold medallions ( these things were heavy, in boxes made of football leather and with the SB logo engraved on them. They were impressive And were tickets to the Nike pre super bowl party) Nike rented out a whole hotel called the Casa Marina right on Jax beach for their party So I took 3 guys from the clinic with me whom I really enjoyed working with, to enjoy a football party before that SB! Free food, free bar, and they had a tent with heaters over the courtyard and down to the beach front. That night we got to casually meet guys like Andy Reid ( super nice , big dude!) Warrick Dunn ( nicest football player I have ever met and smaller than I was and I’m 5’9”)., and a slew of other guys and their Entourages just enjoying the party. The reason I mention it is because of how unbelievable it was to just be mingling with people way out of my social league, and two guys struck me as head turners because they had large groups of people hanging around them; Jerry Rice, and Jim Kelly ! Both were surrounded by women and body guards! Unlike Reid who was alone and easily approachable , there was no way any unfamiliar person was ever getting close to those two You mention OJ making sure his presence was known, well, I saw lots of examples of that over the years and I am sure some of the players could compete with him for attention grabbing ( tho not for the same sociopathic reasons ) . James lofton was there but also very approachable. This was A time before Jim had any health issues and I think he has changed quite a bit since that time and God bless him for it. It was a great night but the worst thing was Nike kept the dog gone Gold medallions and all we got to keep was the boxes they came in.! Would have loved to keep those but I guess Nike drew a line in the sand concerning the medallions! 😀 I can only imagine what types of experiences you must have had over the years in your hotel you described ! I bet it was / has been an amazing experience in people watching and behavior , and I wonder if you ever dreamed growing up ( not knowing your background) you would ever be around people like OJ etc!? World famous guy for both good and terrible reasons , but still , funny how life can be so unpredictable! It would be great sitting and having a drink while listening to some of your experiences ! Great story, and it’s amazing how we both probably were fans of his only to see how crazy his “ story” became and it had to be very weird to see him in that light in your hotel! Some people are better in person than you might ever expect , and then there’s that other group that don’t quite live up the image they portray. Have a great Halloween and hope the Bills squish the fish! 😊🍸 Thx for sharing that !
  21. True story, I won, bought a signed OJ JERSEY at super bowl 27 in Pasadena which was BEFORE the murders. I was in a bar watching the news one night after work as the bronco was headed down the road. I had the signed jersey , a football , and a helmet all signed by the 90’s Bills teams in specially built cabinets in my medical office ( my office, not the waiting room ). Might be karma, but I was hit with a couple of kidney stones , was out if work a bit and someone stole the oj Jersey! No break in occurred and it was ‘92 I believe, so I didn’t have cameras all over the inside. Still pisses me off just cuz he WAS A great back , and It was a unique piece of memorabilia from a super bowl trip that otherwise was a tough game to be at. Crazy but true story. So SB 27 was crazy for me. Mean Joe Green asked my then GF for her autograph on the flight from Atlanta out because he was reading a mag with Hillary on the cover and nfl Gf looked much like her ! Then I got the stuff at the auction. I still have 3 uncut skybox card (90 cards to a sheet ,) printed right there at the super bowl experience before the game. One sheet has Fina as a rookie plus , Kelly , Thurman, Bruce, metzalars, Bennett, and Tasker all on the same sheet which was a limited 20 k printing and it’s in mint condition. ( btw, I have had a serious neck injury recently and now looking to pass that on to a bills fan to add to their collection. Would love to get it to Fina since he was a rookie if anyone knows how to get in touch. ) Have two other sheets , one with all the cowboys stars on it. Michael Jackson performed at half time to start the trend of huge half time shows. My seats were on the goal line and despite the game, that was the ENDZONE Beebe ran down Leon lett and stripped the ball. I was across the field but right on the goaline line about 20 rows up , so had a good view of the play. Didn’t mean a lot at the time ,but it’s now one of my fav Bills memories. Finally , on the plane ride home there was a pleasant middle age couple sitting behind me and they were very happy and had SB victory cowboy gear on. Began talking to them and turns out they were Kelvin Martins parents ( k- mart , WR for Dallas) who were from Jacksonville ! They actually became patients of mine in my family practice office after that experience! Sorry if it seems like a LAMP post, but not intended that way. It was just crazy how I loved Oj as a young fan , won his signed jersey at an official NFL auction at SB 27, only months later to see him as a wife beating, criminal who I think most agree should still be in prison for obvious reasons! All the stuff I wrote is true and it’s hard to believe it all happened around my love for that Bills team and time as a fan since being a kid in ‘63 when I first rooted for the Bills against the Jets just to have fun with my father who was a huge Jets fan for some reason ( Namath perhaps?). If you ever get a chance to go to a SB with the Bills. , DO IT IF YOU CAN! Prices have gotten crazy. I went to SB 27& 28 in Atlanta , but the cost then was about 10k $ for two including flight, hotel, pre game parties , game tickets with transportation! I don’t think you can get anything near that now , but if money is ever not an issue, from an old guy (64) now , I still remember those games and things like it was yesterday, and now faced with possibly a career ending neck issue, those memories are truly priceless! Still hope to be alive to see us actually win one , but if they get back there guys, if it’s at all possible , find a way to be there ! 😀👍
  22. As John Fina , prior bills tackle in the super bowl years , said on his podcast , those stats mean nothing. Sure they look good but in reality Josh shock have had a completion percentage above 80% and chose to not throw. Multiple times to wide open receivers in the short zones and keep mixing the chains. It’s about scoring and the W , not the stats you are bragging about as being proof that Josh is above criticism. We lost and we shouldn’t have to a team that injury riddled! Also on the final sneak it’s true dawkins s beaten badly , and as Fina points out , Josh took an unnecessary hop step to the left which is something you are never taught in a qb sneak. You drive forward and if you review the film from above , Morse and Williams had driven their guys back into the ENDZONE , and if Josh had just not hopped to his left there was an easy path to the first down and even a possible td. As Fina said , 70% of the failure of that play was on Josh not just using his size and power to get a few inches and I believe a lineman who has been in the teaching rooms over all the pundits on here who are such homers at times they can’t face facts that Josh needs better situational awareness at times and still Can improve. . The proof is in the scoreboard, it was an L, not the silly stats that mean nothing concerning the final outcome. Try keeping a more open mind and not letting your fan boy over ride rational thought and perhaps get some help with analysis from guys who have actually been in those situations. 🤔😀We all love Josh , but he still causes lots of drives to stall with some intellectual breakdowns and hopefully he will actually do what he says in his pressers when he constantly repeats “ I have to be better , I can’t do that”! We’ve heard a lot over the prior 3 years. He just needs to develop consistency and he could become Brady like in his career.
  23. Great point! Still with the emphasis on qb protection I am surprised it’s ok to hit a qb deliberately going for the knees. Great point tho , thx!
  24. Yep, that article was from 2018, and I can’t believe that’s being called consistently. For example when Josh dove for the possible first down against the titans, that would mean the ball would have been spotted where he started the dive and not where it was spotted where he landed. What if he had attempted to dive over the pile on 4 th , by that rule the ball would be spotted behind the line! Another example of the nfl trying to legislate too much and By doing so it ends up creating subjectivity into the calls more and more.with resulting inconsistency. Also If a player fumbles forward like you described I am pretty sure if that player recovers they are the only one who can still advance the ball and so a td would be possible. Sounds like more terrible refs influencing outcomes and it’s getting intolerable. No also dove for a first down head first tonight on 2 nd and 15 and he dove for the last 2 yards on a 17 yd run, so the rule of it still exists is not being uniformly enforced. I don’t see how it could as it goes against all of prior tradition in football fighting and diving for tds or first downs. If this officiating keeps being this bad sooner or later the NFL will lose a big class action suit by a fan base whose team lost and they will have a ton of film to support prior things not being called in a similar fashion. Imagine a call like that in a super bowl deciding the outcome! That’s a Billsy thing to happen! 😀
  25. Disgusting how inconsistent the referees and calls are. That first hit was brutal and most likely where most if not all of the damage to his pcl occurred. Blatant hit that looks like a dirty pats play going almost directly right for his knees and yet no call in a wide open field where there is no excuse or way the refs did not see it yet ignored it. This stuff is what hurts the NFL; phantom holding calls like on Morse, yet the most dangerous type of hit below the waist directed at a qbs knees and nothing but crickets. That crew needs to be fined and let’s hope this pats crap doesn’t show up when Josh is exposed. Afc is filled with good teams and we have 2 conference losses. Titans destroyed the Chiefs, so just another sign we don’t want to go there in the pLayoffs. Bengals, Ravens, Raiders all look good and are 5-2 so we need to get our red zone issues solved and not play down to weaker teams we will be facing. I think Daboll needs to back off on so many personnel groups and simplify things for consistency. Titans have a good formula, run game threat and it opens their passing game up along with an ability to pressure and hit the qb. We have to get better line play, and I hope Mcd stops the “ numbers” game with all the rotating inactive. You drafted all the d lineman , no need for 8 active o lineman on game day ( that’d why we have swing guys , right?) , so get AJ & Basham playing and getting reps as we have to hit the qb. The Bucs, Pack, and Cards look legit as well so we have lots of progress to get to their level of consistency if we actually have title hopes.
