Who would have thought the Bolts take Indy to OT?
Numark replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
what really isn't fair is the fact this was a home game for the chargers. That rule needs to be changed. -

Numark replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think the refs thought we were playing in OT with those calls. Thank god we didn't go to the playoffs to lose in OT due to penalties though. I would have punched the TV and then killed it. My anger was distributed over 4-6 games this year. -
o shut up and stop acting like a 6 year old

Bobby April ... it's been mentione before ...
Numark replied to puppet's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if nothing else he has emotions -
with so many other needs, we cannot worry about getting a stud WR, SS, or QB (veteran backup yes, nothing else) C TE DE OLB Depth everywhere those are by far the 5 crucial needs. i don't see how you can place anything above those 5. Depth is something this team doesn't have, and is something we overlook. We need to get 4-5 quality backups at various positions. I would rather spend a lot of money on getting depth, than a stud SS or almost anything

Cowher will be going to Cleveland....
Numark replied to bflobarry's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i like billick over jauron, but he won a superbowl due to that defense. He had nothing to do with it. The offense had nothing to do it. And cowher won;t come here either. Don't kid yourself. We will nto get a high-profile expensive coach. If we get a new coach it will be a nobody or Wade Phillips -
amen to that. calling a receiver a bust after 1-2 years is a joke

Edwards or Hamdan will start this week
Numark replied to Ramius's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HE told me to bump this topic, he doesn't appreciate being on the second page. Just for that, he will throw for 6 more TDs and he will sack cutler 3 times for safeties to give us 6 more points, all while still playing offense. -
Brian Billick and Mike Nolan

Nope, there is a chance this could work. So no. -

The problem with this place and the average bills fan, is they want to blame one thing. Everyone acts like one thing is the problem. And with that said, everything is extremes. Either we have no talent and terrible players, or we have great all around palyers. Either coaching is the worst in the league, or just perfectly fine. Either Tent is the worst QB ever, or going to be a star. Is talent a problem. Yea, a little bit. We still have a lot of great talent on this team and wonderful potential. Do wee have enough talent to get in the playoffs, possibly. Can we get there on talent alone though? No. We are a solid offseason away from having that much talent. A TE and C on offense will do wonders. An OLB and DE on defense will also do wonders. The real issue here is depth. We have no depth at a lot of positions. If we lose a starting DE as we did, things get bad. Is coaching a problem. Of course it is. Our coaching has indeed cost us a few games this year. They have made some terrible calls and decisions at crucial times in games. Should we fire them and clean house, I am not sure. I thought Jauron did a great job with this team last year, and not so much this year. Are the rookies to blame? No. Stop calling players like Hardy and Ellis a bust. They are rookies, give me a break you bunch of 11 year olds. Get it together, calling a rookie a bust is silly. Come back in 2-3 years. Rookies are not expected to make an impact or even get a lot of playing time sometimes. It depends on the player and position. WRs take a long time develop to be honest. They just do. Give hardy a break as well as Ellis. Is it the front office? Our front offices have made both good and bad decisions over the past 6 years. They have found some wonderful talent, and they have made terrible moves. You fans are just too much sometimes. When things are going ood, you love everything. When things are going bad, you blame everyone and want this team scrapped. Give trent edwards more time. And grow up. We are nto that bad, we were very close this year, our young QB got shooken up in the middle of the season and never really recovered from whatever happened. We didn't have a solution to bad QB play. We turned the ball over al ot the second half of this season. We have made terrible coaching calls. We were truly a few plays away from having 3-4 more wins. I know you can say all teams can say that, but they really can't as much as us. We have had certain plays that should have been different. Not game changing plays in the 3rd quarter, but terrible calls under 2 minutes. If we have a good offseason, expect us to make the playoffs

With the #12 Pick of the 2009 draft the Bills select...
Numark replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
C TE OLB are still the big 3 weaknesses on our team. DE may have the most impact, but right now we have preston at center, ellison at OLB, and Royal at TE. None of those three people should be starters on any team. At least Kelsay is an average DE -
All, i am saying is when the season counted with games against cleveland, san fransisco, and miami. We couldn't pass the ball further than the line of scrimmage, literally. And then we put up 3 points against miami and san fran. 3 points. Defense does win chamionships, but you have to have a capable offense. There has been teams that won a superbowl purely as an offensive powerhouse, btu rarely does a pure defense win chamionships. NO, until we upgrade our offense, we won't stand a chance of making the playoffs. Don't kid yourselves. With our defense right now added 2 or 3 players, with a devoping ellis and bowen, can get us to the playoffs. You are crazy to think our current offense with an addition of a 2nd or 3rd round Center, will get us anywhere. When we play the jets or patriots, a pass rushing defensive end will make a difference. But give me a break if you still think we can outscore them
-
I have a strong feeling he is going to drop to 8-12, and depending on how bad we play. WE may be able to get him. if he is there, i don't care what anyone says aobut needs, we grab him And i know pass rush is by far the weakest part of the defense, our defense is still good/average. Our offense is terrible. Having a nice tall, fast tight end such as brandon pettigrew would help the offense and specifically trent edwards who would love to pass to tight ends all day. We are a C and good G for depth away from having a good offensive line, and our defense is still some positions away from being a great defense. But in my opinion, Fine is not going to be the answer, don't kid yourself. He may turn out to be a good tightend, but we want a playmaker. Fine is not playmaker. If we pick a center, tightend, linebaker, or defensive end in the first round, I will be very happy. I just prefer a tightend at this point. This draft has 2 great pass-catching tight ends. has some great centers, specifically mack. Has some great OLBs in curry and cushing. And has some very good DEs. This draft has the positions we need for once. So lets not screw this up.
-
I know DE, DT, OLB are all big needs, but let's face it, offense is what is holding us back big time. And on the offenseive side, the problem i think is down to 2 spots, C & TE. There are 2 very good centers, and 2 very good tall pass-catching tightends. I really think we need to go that route in the 1st round. Preferably a TE as that will help trent out incredibly. Center could be adressed in free agency hopefully. And OLB, DT can alwys be picked up in the 3rd, 4th, 5th. DOn't forget we get Bowen back next year, and i still have high hopes for him. So my draft plans would be TE DE OLB DT C G Wr

Who is the guy that decided he NEEDED an Edwards jersey...
Numark replied to RayFinkle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
man I can't wait until the day the bills win the superbowl. I just want it within 10 years....thats not so much to ask. We have been waiting a lot longer than that -
maybe he needs a legitimate QB coach.
-
anyone one of us could say we wanted one of them, any of them, but the sad part is did anyone want jauron, or williams, or mularky?
-
this is a draft deep in linebackers, defensive ends, and tackles i believe. Also, anyone looking at the that brandon pettigrew at the TE spot. he looks pretty tempting.
-
Anyone have some good links for 7 round 2009 mock drafts thanks in advance
-
just might be crazy enough to work. Only if we play them on offense and defense
