  1. I said I was joking !
  2. again that's 21 ypp. Way to high IMO http://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_per_att_single_season.htm P Mannings BEST season's average was 9.2Y/A, 13.6 Y/C. Drew Brees 8.2 Y/A, 14.7 Y/C I can see wanting to be exuberant but the least that can do is use the calculator and see how highly unlikely those numbers are. Now if it were EJ! JUST KIDDING
  3. 12-16 for 295? Passing only or combined? If passing only, that's 24.58 per pass play. No way TT throws that long ball and is THAT successful. IF it includes rushing in the total that is still 19.75 yards per pass play. Before people over react ad say I am trashing TT - I highly doubt the BEST passers in the NFL can average 24.58 per pass play.
  4. you all need to stick to your day jobs and leave the name generation to Chris.
  5. I (jokingly) asked Yolo to start a poll asking this topic. I can see dressing 2 QB's. My question was who would be the starter the following week? MC or EJ? that ^ That is why I prefer a QB who can run vs a scrambling QB. If I am not mistaken - Once a QB starts to run, the China Doll QB rules are no longer in effect except when they slide.
  6. You forgot Troll in your description.
  7. FWIW I heard a bit on the radio where a lot of teams go to extreme lengths to hide / remove any documents the Cheatriots could get their hands on and the owners like that Goodell went after the Putz
  8. Yolo We need a new poll. If TT gets injured, who is the starter the following week. thanks bud I believe Chris Brown named him the backup after Cassel was cut. Just saying
  9. Yes EJ 's 6-8 record proves he'll never be a starting QB in the NFL. Once again I GIVE UP. good day.
  10. a) sure OK I believe you 1000% 6) Until proven otherwise, yes, I think EJ can be a starter in the league. Meaning watching him play in another 10 to 16 live games as the starter.
  11. ummm in a way you did. Clarification - the way you presented it you did.
  12. But you just said in numerous posts that you thought he sucks. Please stick with one story line. This flip flopping is not helping your cause.
  13. Finally they are learning to develop young players!!! Hallelujah!!!
  14. Didn't you just say that EJ deserves to be #3. Now the implication is that Matt the Mentor will be #2 to whomever is #1 be it TT or EJ. Funny, I just said that an hour or 2 ago. Matt the Mentor will be #2 to whomever is the #1 QB.
  15. Matt Cassel will not bring the Buffalo Bills to the promised land. Kyle Orton, Kevin Kolb, Thad Lewis, Tyler Thigpen, Ryan Fitzpartick, Drew Bledsoe. When you repeat the same mistakes over and over ... Call me crazy
  16. Yes, Metz. We ALL love to B word and moan and groan. Just as much as people want to say EJ sucks and clearly should be the #3. What changed with Matt Cassel in the last 3 days? He is still the unexciting QB he has always been.
  17. Sure it makes sense. I am not arguing the point. What is a few thousand miles really going to do when the $ difference is say $1Million + in base salary? I used to travel for work all the time from 2 weeks to 3 months. I was in Australia for 2 months from mid June to mid Aug. My youngest was born 3 weeks after I got home. To me it's an excuse, not a great excuse and IMO should not be the deciding factor. Look at Tom Brady. He left his unmarried son in California with his "girlfriend".
  18. While it's been 23 years since the birth of my last child I can't see how things could be harder for women. Unless Mrs Cassel is on bed rest it's not, for a lack of a better term, that good of an excuse. It's not like she has to fly around the world.
  19. Try, as hard as it is, to not feed the Trolls!
  20. ummm what does being 8 mos pregnant have to do with football? Ahhh its the safest he will be. Collects a paycheck and doesn't risk getting hurt, and when he takes maternity leave EJ can step up as backup.
  21. I can see EJ being the starter if TT goes down and then MC can tutor EJ. based on this v
  22. when the whole of the media 90% say he sucks a 3rd won't be had. (sarc) Those who actually evaluate football may be willing to go for an upper pound pick. Might be able to pull off a 3rd contingent on W/L record etc.
  23. So there's a chance? for those who hate that punch line --- too bad.
  24. Depending on the team 5th through 7th. Hell, the Bills gave up a 7th for Cassel. There are still teams in need for a good QB. When RGIII is deemed unusable and Cousins and McCoy suck in DC, look for an EJ deal to happen.
