Yes it was a good win. BUT it is still only week 1. This is a marathon and not a sprint. If you want to go out and buy Super Bowl tickets based on yesterday alone go ahead. FYI. Andrew Luck has been blown out in his last 2 games. 45-7 and 27-14 by a 4th year player that never started or played a full NFL game.

True dat. One of the talking heads was saying the Fish could be like 9-1 because they have a soft schedule. Which may be true, but (If I heard correctly) the majority of their first 8 games are on the road. Week 1 is a hard week to make judgements, but they barely outplayed the Redskins who are expected (truly) to be at the bottom of the NFL all season

ditto since the Bills starters humiliated then in the preseason. Yes people, I know preseason doesn't mean squat, but some things are obvious

Tell me - How many teams came back from 10 to 21 (or more) point deficits yesterday? w/o looking I know it is - 3 Redskins & Miami down 10 to nothing and scored 17 unanswered, 7 of which was a kick return. Detroit & Chargers - a come-from-behind 33-28 win down 21-3 Dallas & Giants - Tony Romo threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten with 7 seconds left to beat the Giants 27-26 because the Giants screwed up and didn't kill the clock properly when Manning threw a pass away.

as a win? edit - Yes this was a GOOD win for the Buffalo Bills. Seriously. Lets not go overboard after 1 win against Andrew Luck and the over hyped Colts. 1 down 15 more regular season games to go. edit - If you have noticed this past season, I have not said Andrew Luck is a top 5 QB. This is an unfair dig and I say this mostly because the Colts team relies too much on him and he doesn't have a proper supporting cast. Bring on the Taintriots

it's ground and pound. Get used to it. I posted yesterday that I thought the game was a bit boring / slow. Not enough oomph late in the 2nd half. The Bills won. They defeated the great Andrew Luck. Next up..... Tainted Brady more thoughts on why it was so "unimpressive" aka conservative.. a) They were protecting a lead b) Why show the Cheatriots anything more than they have to. 2 deep passes is not truly deep and short. Hell, Maroon typically only went deep 2 times a game.

not nitpicking... from what I saw - the TD pass was a wobbler and the overthrown long ball to Sammy was a tight spiral. but but Orton averaged well over 200 passing yards per game. and the passing yards are typical of an EJM passing game!!

the guys in the booth kept saying that throughout the game. The Bills are tackling and allowing no yards after possession both rushing and receiving. what a difference real coaching does for a team. After one game people are comparing TT to RW? slow down fellas. One game at a time. Lets beat the out of the Cheatriots before we put him a notch higher on the ladder to success.
