comfortable with similar passing numbers yes. But there is more to passing yards, which is why I would have preferred EJ. Orton wasn't an improvement and IMO he wasn't the best chance to win.

I looked at Kyles #'s but only did the math for 12 games. the advantage for EJ is he can scramble when it comes to it. Did Orton ever run a QB sneak? I think I saw him scramble once roe a 8+yard 1st down and one other time where he could have made the 1st but slid too early and ended up 12 yards shy. I'm OK with a QB that doesn't have to pass for a lot of yards. I'm a rush first pass send guy and a QB than can actually run when needed to score TD's.

Yes I want him to address it. First off - Doesn't the HC overrule the OC? I'd like to know if the Whaley direction on EJ truly was part of being hired. that answers the yes. I want to know this season if EJ can play or not. Never knowing does not help this team. as to the no. Well he better have a damn good answer other than the likes of Cutler and Orton hasbeens. I'm in the not sold on the Rex Hiring so I want him to impress me.

please compare their sacks from last year to this, IIRC the D had 7 more sacks in 13. The switch with the Schwartz had many wondering where Kiko would go before he got hurt. To be honest at times I would have liked to have seen a few more blitzes
