HeadsetGate ? pats strike again ?
BillsFan-4-Ever replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Stick to the real issues? to me - not caring for your field properly is a real issue to me. Do the Bills control the weather? Make it snow and blow 0 to -15 deg wind chills? Did I fabricate this issue of shoddy field conditions? No, I relayed media reports of other nefarious activities. the last bit was some fun added in .. If that is what prompted "Stick to the real issues" comment then may I suggest you learn to lighten up and laugh a little. Capt Obvious says The Cheatriots of course!!! -
AP Source: NFL plans to change football handling guidelines http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ap-source-nfl-plans-change-football-handling-guidelines-031401744--nfl.html The person spoke on condition of anonymity Friday night because details will be discussed at the owners' meetings in San Francisco next week. The procedural changes result from the ''Deflategate'' saga. The league wants to avoid the possibility that teams could tamper with footballs, and any change wouldn't require a vote from owners. interesting bit The footballs must be delivered to the officials' dressing room 2 hours, 15 minutes before kickoff. The referee inspects each one, with a pump provided by the home team to adjust air pressure as needed. Footballs are required to have at least 12.5 psi and no more than 13.5 psi.

has anyone brought up the field conditions during games? sometimes in the playoffs where they leave the field uncovered in heavy rains days prior to the game to have a sloppy field that may not be advantageous to teams acclimated to mostly synthetic turf fields? you are aware that with the proper tools your phone can be hacked and messages intercepted. it's done every day by the gov't. why not a hacker. item 2. if you don't want "bad" information being intercepted don't use electronic devices. item 3. if the didn't know these guys texting him he could have taken steps to stop them from doing so. the easiest of which is changing your phone number and a bribe to some guy in the telephone network can look up your account and provide the data for a nominal fee.

the initial rules were the balls were delivered to the referees and available to the teams 2 hours prior to the game http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/ball The home club shall have 36 balls for outdoor games and 24 for indoor games available for testing with a pressure gauge by the referee two hours prior to the starting time of the game to meet with League requirements. Twelve (12) new footballs, sealed in a special box and shipped by the manufacturer, will be opened in the officials’ locker room two hours prior to the starting time of the game. These balls are to be specially marked with the letter "k" and used exclusively for the kicking game.

Most fans side with NFL over Brady in deflate-gate, poll finds America speaks out http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12881342/poll-shows-fans-support-nfl-sanctions-tom-brady News poll found that 63 percent of all fans surveyed, and 76 percent of self-described "avid" fans, supported the NFL's decision to suspend Brady for four games,

Brady had duty to “reasonably cooperate,” whatever that means Kessler, for example, would have strongly advised Brady to say nothing publicly prior to being interviewed by the league. That would have avoided the awkward and unhelpful press conference from January 22 and the less awkward but equally unhelpful pre-Super Bowl interview with NBC’s Bob Costas. Kessler also presumably would have advised Brady to cooperate with the league’s request for text messages and emails. how did they explain the F Tom* texts?

"I think I was doing what I was coached to do," Manuel said of his conservative play last season. "I know now that I'm more willing to take chances, just because of the confidence I have in my throwing motion and my arm. I think more of those vertical passes will definitely be showing (up)." "Just watching Kyle's resiliency... obviously when things aren’t always going right, I think as a QB you just have to stay steadfast, and you have to just be yourself," Manuel said. "I think that's the biggest thing I learned - don't try to be somebody you're not, don't try to always say the right thing, just be yourself and let your personality show." http://www.buffalorumblings.com/bills-news-notes/2015/5/13/8597741/ej-manuel-interview-greg-roman-steve-deberg-kyle-orton-benching

at first then I corrected myself NoSaint point is his #'s were very poor in the 23 played in Denver and much worse that EJ's #'s and yet people wanted him in Buffalo. were you or Chan one of those? not only a Pats* lover but a Tebow lover 2011 for his 14 games played alone were horrific 6 INT's and 7 Fumbles w/QBR of 29.2 for the season!!! his 2011 comp % was 46.5% -
