Ok, survivor link now works. It appears as though they deleted all the previous survivor groups. When I chose the option to renew it, it gave us a new group number and removed the ability to send invites to last year's survivor members. The link now goes to the correct group. Ok, all set with the above links. Both group numbers changed.

The email invites to the Pro Pick'em were sent out. Something changed with Survivor and I couldn't send group emails out. Maybe they got sent together? The password is either 2017 or 2016. Irritating that I can't change the Survivor password. So, it looks like passwords won't be an issue. We have converted over to https, but there are some hard-coded links (to emoticons I think) that is preventing some threads from being secure.

A lot of people have trouble receiving the password recovery email that gets sent out. I assume their ISPs think it is spam and filter it out. I'd rather not field a bunch of requests from posters who need me to reset their passwords. Ain't nobody got time for that.

At some point very soon, I will be moving my sites from http: to https:. I don't know if this will have any ill-effect on browser saved passwords, so make sure you have them in case you get locked out.

It's not a crash. Something keeps happening with the sabrespace front page that ties up the database.

I know. I've been crushed at work with proposals and this week I've been out at a field test in a tick infested field. Updating the schedule in the database is just a painful process because of how it is configured. I'll try and do it this weekend.

It's better to just say you didn't like math and science in school. "Momentum" is a term stolen from science to stand as a proxy for one team is outplaying the other or random events are breaking one team's way over the other. Teams have this fictitious momentum all the way up to the point they don't. Then a miraculous thing occurs! The other team now has it! Oh no! Houston had all of this fictitious momentum, up until the point they stopped playing better than the Bills. This fictitious quantity also led to Don Beebe stepping out of bounds and not getting called on a TD catch. And once the Bills captured the lead - do you know what happened? Houston turned around and tied the game. So much for that momentum. 👎👎👎 Momentum. Just an awful fictitious entity to defend.
