Jesus. Did you put this on your calendar? I meant to do something special for this, but I'm just swamped right now. If someone has any suggestions please offer them.

At what point do we say Antonio Brown is the GOAT?
SDS replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The question is who is going to be his QB the next five years? -
Just stop. For the love of god just please stop.

I believe I read DAY-bull

I did as well. I found this side tidbit equally as interesting with respect to Rex Ryan and difficulties here: “Like NFL offenses, in recent years NFL defenses have also become too wordy, relying on long-winded calls designating scheme and technique and impractical checks. With the speed at which New England operates, the message for defenses has become clear: fix your terminology or perish.”

Eh. I don’t consider adult conversation to be boring. I am not a fan of hot takes. Actually, I don’t care what people believe in as long as there is a logical thought process behind it. Which, if someone craps on this selection because of his offensive passing rankings, yet dismissed the QB out of hand, is not logical. At all. Not even a little.
-
Although I understand the fan inside each of us being hopeful of the selection, I don’t see how anyone can be anything other than this.
-
Yes 1000x. I don’t understand why more people don’t appreciate this fact. There is an asymmetric knowledge of the situation. We are in a huge disadvantage in the decision-making process because we don’t know anything. Yet everyone claims they have enough information to make such decisions. It’s just awful.

This argument is a bit silly. Clearly Jerry Rice has had the greatest career of any receiver. He was also blessed with Joe Montana and Steve Young. The cards were stacked in his favor. I would rather ask the question this way: Given the Hall of Fame quarterback of your choice which receiver would you rather have for one year at the peak of their career? Sorry Jerry, I’d take Moss. Possibly Johnson after him. -
All of these takes are incorrect. Diggs momentum towards the sideline stopped when he went up for the ball and the guy just flat out misjudged where the point of impact would be. The only movement he makes is lowering his head and shoulder. He never changes direction to avoid hitting the receiver. He misjudged the point of impact when the receiver jumped up.

Down to Four - Which Team Are You Rooting For and Why?

Vikings. Love me some Fran Tarkington and the purple people eaters. -
Kurt Shulz says hello.

Hahahahahaha.... jesus, what is the fascination of people calling outcomes before they are actually complete? When you post a thread before the game is over…

We are UR! They went 8-0 my freshmen year and I helped organize the playoff bus to the playoff game. We had tons of people at the games.
-
So all the coaches he has worked for love him and all the players who have spoken about him love him. Clearly someone to stay away from…
-
Why don’t you go ahead and define failure? It seems to me we have a guy who is never had a quarterback with talent to produce in the passing game, yet he’s managed to have tremendously successful running games without the threat from a talented quarterback to back off the defenses.
-
Where are you a big follower of the Browns, Dolphins and Chiefs during those glory years? Did you watch those games unimpressed with his offense and play calling?
-
Absolutely it is. Just the good old boys. All of us against you. It’s what we do around here. We choose random member IDs out of a hat and then we attack. We viciously attack innocent posters for no reason at all. Borderline criminal really.
-
Absolutely. It’s everyone else. It’s not you at all. Despite the fact there have been people posting here for decades and have tens of thousands of posts everyone has decided to unnecessarily choose you to pick on. It’s their fault. You bear no responsibility.
-
It’s time to move on and discuss Buffalo Bills football. Thank you.
-
Yawn. You are one of 1000 “I’m just trying to talk football- why is everyone picking on me?“ guys that have come through here the last two decades. I can assure you, 100% of the time, whenever someone posts “it’s everybody else not me” – it is always that person. Always.
