There are a lot of bad takes in this thread. It was clear by timing of the announcement, and then further confirmed by Tim, this was not a part of the original cost cutting measures. If he was fired or nudged out it was because of something or multiple things that happened after the restructuring. When I heard the news it was clear to me that he had been very upset that certain writers who were let go, the reasoning behind them being let go, and with the recent dustup with Vic and the deleting of that tweet, it’s clear there was some acrimony behind the scenes. He never struck me as a fall in line to kind of guy

I guess I passively suggested that there should be a blue border along the outside like the front page. I should’ve said so explicitly.

When trying to make the message board look similar to the front-page, I had this error where the white boxes didn't lineup that I never fixed. Is there some one who wants to dive into this for us? I'd prefer not to make any template/html changes (adding divs, etc...). I'm hoping for a css only solution. Thanks.

I would appreciate it, like I have requested in the past, that you do not use announcements and support forums for chit chat. In a topic devoted to requesting you be mindful of other people’s time, many of you have decided to waste more of it.

I may be off base on this, but what is the typical shelf life of a specific reporter in a market? It seems to me that if you have been writing for 29 years in the same market you should probably be a rockstar revered journalist. I am not sure the two in question met that level of esteem. With their tenure either you are a local treasure or your voice probably needs to be refreshed.

Hey guys and gals... I just wanted to point out something obvious, but needs to be said anyway. This is a Buffalo Bills message board and though occasionally conversations get heated, for the most part, most everyone should be transparent to the moderators in day-to-day conversations. However, if you find yourself reporting posts every single day or if you have your posts reported every single day then that means you are inserting yourself into the life of the moderators on a daily basis. There is absolutely no reason in the world why this should ever happen. Interacting conflict free on a message board is a very low bar of social interaction to clear. We have had thousands of people come through here and able to navigate that successfully. Please do not be a high maintenance poster. Thanks.
