20 reasons not to put your picture on the net!
SDS replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the last one is my favorite although Basic Instinct is pretty damn good. -

hey, our ideas won, but lets just go with your ideas that lost and we'll all be happy!!!! what a bunch of BS. If bipartisanship was the goal we would do away with elections and have the entire govt split 50/50 and force it all to work... Let me tell you a story about bipartisanship. George Bush Sr. wanted to be a "uniter". He wanted to work together with those bipartisan-loving democrats who have nothing but goodness flowing through their veins. Sure he made a pledge not to raise taxes, but hey - let's work together! So, the democrat Senate Majority leader George Mitchell crafted the tax increase - with threats to shut down the govt if it wasn't passed - and Bush took the bait. He wanted to be a uniter. So, he signed the infamous Mitchell tax increase into law and then Mitchell and his band of bipartisan-loving democrats proceeded to lop the balls off that fuggin' promise breaking republican.... I'm sure GB is happy he extended his hand across the aisle... So spare your breath about bipartisanship. You people will never vote for a republican anyway, so go pound sand. Or better yet - make a cohesive argument for your ideas, change minds, and win elections. I'm guessing you'll forego trying to move the electorate with ideas. You'll just spend time pissing on those crazy religious people.... then in 4 years I can watch again as you all scratch your collective asses about why you can't win a state between MD and CA.

Kerry's words ... Cheney's "mandate" ...

Interesteing.... just the other day he was talking about "two Americas". Did that go away? Did the wind shift again? That's what I thought. -
nice, but those are all 3am chicks.... the real prize was the Supreme Court. (hopefully some old coots will retire).

Unfit for Command perhaps?

if you want, I'll kick you in the balls to take your mind off the election.

my untrustworthy political hack sources claim that Hotline says Mason-Dixon was the winner. Pew is close also (nationally at least).

That is a mighty fine piece of analysis. I wish I knew who the panel was...

I believe these were HIS 5:00 pm predictions on how the race would go.

Who thinks it will be Jeb v Hillary in '08?

errrr.... negative cowboy. Guliani, Powell, and Patiaki could never get the nomination. Arnold is ineligible. Cheney is near death with his heart (not to mention he is now a liability). Allen is your only possibility there. -
[shannen Coffin] My post from Monday: 286-252. That's my prediction. Bush holds Ohio and Florida. Picks up NM and IA. NH, overrun by Massachusetts libs who can talk a good game about the need for higher taxes but can't back it up by paying them, flips to Kerry. I wouldn't be entirely surprised, however, if I'm wrong on Wisconsin, which I currently have as a Dem hold. Actually, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if I am wrong on the entire damnable enterprise, since I rarely get these things right. I was just hoping I could have something else to laugh at NRO editors about (in addition to the Red Sox Series win), so I am taking a free shot. Posted at 01:02 PM

I would LOVE to see Hillary as the candidate. She would get her ass handed to her so fast it will make your head spin. The reps would have to put up Newt Gingrich in order to balance the polarizing factor. -
BTW, these were his 5 pm numbers YESTERDAY.

That would be Hillary when she made her famous 60 minutes "I'm not a stand by your man - at home making cookies" diatribe.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..... and I perceive the sun rises in the East. Thanks Tom. Can't wait for more earth shaking insight.

I'm not really sure why you care or why you are badgering me on this - but I made a mid-election count post that indicated that Gore - who lost - was performing better than Kerry. Thus, and I will type this slowly, the picture looked bleak for Kerry.... Are you ok with that?
-
I wish I could say I was laughing on election eve 1994, but I was too busy crying those tears of joy. Support Bill all you want - he was the BEST thing that ever happened to the Republican Party. He single handedly delivered a Republican majority for at least a generation.... But hey, he got re-elected!
-
sorry, too much mental masturbation for me... My only concern was whether he was getting a higher % of votes from state to state than Gore.
-
Stellar analysis.... Not. Clinton was a souless prick - just like Kerry. The 1994 election and the Congress that was swept in - changed Mr. Clinton's agenda REAL fast. Clinton put Clinton first and that meant re-election at all costs. Whatever issue he needed to support to gain re-election is exactly what he did.
