    And for what it’s worth, although logically you go for two points first when down by 9, statistically it is shown not to matter. Logically it is not a debate. You are right. But when 538 ran the Numbers, it didn’t make a difference. Basically if you miss the two point conversion it doesn’t really matter when you miss it. You lose.

    I didn’t get it all, but this topic got way off track with a lot of personal back-and-forth. I just sort of mass deleted a whole slew of posts - no offense, but this train took a left at Albuquerque and we weren’t going that way.

    I like it. Tie breaker goes to? National vote margin takes a really long time to sort out. Like six months. What would be quicker, yet still interesting?

    Correction: those running posters were ignored continuously. They were also asked to stop reporting posts. The events in question were both reported by non-involved 3rd party members who thought the line was crossed.

    Political leaders are lagging indicators. Candidates are chosen by the people, the people aren’t lead by the candidate. As an example, look up the post-mortem plans after the Rs lost the 2012 election. In 2016, people chose the candidate that was the exact opposite of their moving forward goals agreed to in 2012.

    no one uses those terms like more X, but the result is the same. Honestly, I suspect 35-40% to be hostile to most of the those goals. 🤷🏼‍♂️

    polls are half science and half art. Both are interesting and most pollsters try to get things right. I love the science and analysis behind them.

    Would anyone care to have a contest on guessing the electoral college count? We can do it closest to the total or we could do something by guessing the maps?
