We have two "contests" (currently with no prizes other than the fame that goes with beiung the winner):
Survivor Pool: Pick one team to win every week, but you can't pick the same team in subsequent weeks. Your team loses and you are out.
Pick 'em Contest: Pick the winners of every game, every week. Get points for picking the winners. Most points at the end wins.

New rules:
Separate pool for playoffs: 1 point per game per round.
We can restart the survivor pool portion if it ends early enough.
We start chopping off your worst week after week 4.
You MUST pick 1 upset each each. (not sure how this works for auto picks).
Bonus points have been reduced:
2 for OT
1 MNF total score
1 Perfect week.
Enjoy!
This is why I do it.
We do drop one week, but it's just nice to have some backup because you have to attend to life every now and then.
I would like to hear more reasons why it should be eliminated.
That is why I listen to Tony Kornheiser when available.
If the sports ain't interesting he talks about life. I would much rather listen to an entertaining conversation about a kitchen cabinet installation than a forced sports convo on a slow news day.
It would have been last night, but I wasn't about to delete every player one by one, so I emailed support on it. Meanwhile there are a lot of options that need to be set, so I wanted to get the rules straight.
Points changes, Rule changes, etc...
Speak now as I am getting ready to setup the pool again and I want the rules set for the welcome email messages that get sent.
It's not the most outrageous, that's for sure.
What made it unique was the just the silliness of the assertion. The Bills failed to get some unkown FB from Chicago and all hell broke loose. He wasn't upset. He flipped out. He blew as big of a gasket as he ever did in any other thread. Our team was officially S-C-R-E-W-E-D because we signed Gash instead of Carter.
Has any fan anywhere ever hinged the future hopes of their team on teh acquisition of a FA fullback?
I thought it summed him up nicely.
