  1. I have a lot of sympathy for him. It's hard for guys like us to find shirts that fit. Everything has to be tailored...
  2. I may be short, but I ain't "Petrino" short...! That ain't right!
  3. I could go for some fresh grapefruit.
  4. or you could go this route: http://liberator.com/images/products/esse_nouveau_1.jpg
  5. my preferred way to eat them (since I love bleu cheese), is to keep the wings dry, dip them in the thick bleu cheese, and then dip them in the thinner sauce. The wings stay crispier, it's less messy, and the you get the right amount of sauce.... JMHO....
  6. Considering the nature of the schedule, I assume you just need to look at what each QB did against their division due to the number of times they play them.
  7. LAMBEAU LEADER: In Green Bay’s home opener this Sunday against Cleveland, Packers quarterback BRETT FAVRE can establish the NFL record for most touchdown passes thrown by a player in a single stadium. Favre (178) needs three more TD passes in Lambeau Field to top the 180 mark set by JOHN ELWAY in Denver’s Mile High Stadium. Since becoming Green Bay’s starting quarterback in Week 4 of 1992, Favre has thrown for 23 TDs in the Pack’s past 12 home openers. He has thrown at least one TD pass in each of those 12 games. The top five TD pass totals by a QB in a single stadium: Quarterback Team Stadium TD Passes John Elway: Denver Broncos Mile High Stadium 180 Brett Favre: Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field 178 Dan Marino: Miami Dolphins Pro Player Stadium 155 Dan Fouts: San Diego Chargers Jack Murphy Stadium 137 Jim Kelly: Buffalo Bills Rich Stadium 127
  8. I told you we had the ticket - Jay just didn't bring it to Danny's. That is why we made arrangements to exchange for it on Sun. If you made a thread about it - I didn't see it because I was AT THE TAILGATE. Thankfully, we sold it around noon.
  9. yeah, but you still stiffed us on Sunday.
  10. Well, if the responses were typical and predictable then why did you ask? Nothing good comes from these threads. Some people hang tight in one place, some people roam. It's best to just search out those answers yourself and avoid the unavoidable criticism of other fan sites that these threads generate.
  11. you'll have to excuse Joe... He posted the 1st female he found. He suffers from premature something or other...
  12. I wear it every year... It has my name on the back and my son's birthday. I will get a home one for Paige. I wish I could get a custom throwback. Then my #15 would be a little less out of place than #31.
  13. yes... I'll upload my album this weekend.
  14. I may bring that one out of retirement. After looking through the photos - it appears Rockpile's daughter's will be in quite a few pictures. (hold your applause...)
  15. I am just looking to replace Willis up top with pairs (sometimes three) of posters. For instance, if I was to chose one pic at random : http://www.frontiernet.net/~jacobrosen/Tai...9110015_JPG.htm I would extract the heads/shoulders and make them the same size as Willis above. I would then use that in a layer to blend in with the banner.
  16. not sure if he actually picked the games or if it was a random pick, but 12-3 is pretty damn good!
  17. I need someone who is reasonably skilled with the photoshop lasso tool to trace posters and separate them from the background, so that we can rotate these pictures up on the banner. I have a lot of pictures to do, so I was hoping to recruit a few good posters to lend a helping hand! Apply within or send me a PM.
  18. I could move the entire board there...
  19. I think you can "close" your own thread... no?
  20. I apologize for the belated remarks. I finished up my vacation on Mon and Tues and traveled on Wed. Having dail-up at my sister's house didn't help either... This annual face-to-face renewal of our online friendships means quite a bit to me. This is my "profit" for the time I spend trying to keep everything afloat and I do my best to soak it up in 24 hours we spend together. It is really great to see that our annual get-together has not lost any steam. In fact, this may have been our largest one yet. If anyone who is reading this hasn't been to one of our tailgate parties - please make plans to attend!!! You won't regret it. We have new people come every year and it keeps the experience fresh. Special thanks: Jack, Jay, and Cindy for putting the parties together. You guys do so much work that is under appreciated. Without your planning, preparation, and execution we would be just a bunch of thirsty, anonymous people mulling about the parking lot without game tickets. Hammer - for being such a great host. We pay for the priveledge, but you treat us right. Thank you for the extra effort you give to make sure our needs are met. Sully's Stadium Sportswear - for donating $200+ worth of raffle merchandise. We raised a couple months worth of hosting fees. We appreciate your support! Dan Gross and Jay Rosen - for the printouts of TBD days gone past. It is hard to relate the memories they generate after 9 years of TBD involvement. Lori - the new sign was great and it really made the group photo complete. Jan - Thank you for the birthday cake. It was a sweet ending to a sweet day! Cindy - Thank you for my tailgate shirt - I have worn it twice already! Ticket Girls - Thanks to the lovely young ladies who sold tickets to the raffle. I'm sure those beautiful smiles sold many more tickets than we normally would have sold. Pat and Bill in Livonia - the breakfast sausage was delicious! Tyrone - That jerk chicken is to die for! Rich and Rev - Great wings as always! Sue - for my beer at Danny's. It was much better in the belly than on my head. Rockpile - for my garbage plate on Friday. You are good man Charlie Brown! And thank you to all those who travelled near and far to spend time with the group. I hope everyone had as much fun as I had and I hope to see you again next year...
  21. so much for "second page Joe"... See you on page FOUR!
  22. yeah, that is probably it...
  23. 3,260 posts? There's a guy living on yesteryear's accomplishments...
  24. oh, it WILL be there... We took pics for that reason and that one will receive heavy rotation.
