Personally, I don't find anything compelling to talk about with this team on a consistent basis. It is another year of disappointment and I don't necessarily blame fans who chose not to invest themselves emotionally in this particular roster....

Dr. Z had a great article about this about 5 years ago. It was the reason he got out of broadcasting (at least that is what he claims). The article rang true to my ears, so I always stop to remember that these guys aren't flying by the seats of their pants. Someone is pulling the strings. I lay this one at the feet of ESPN more than the three knuckleheads.

Time for a reality check here.... Those guys are TOLD what to discuss. They have someone chirping in the ear the whole time. Yes, the broadcast sucked, but it is the PRODUCER that should have his balls lopped off, not the guys in the booth. Now, I guess they could have tried to not lay it on so thick, but they are pawns in someone else's chess game...

No... Reed was "open" after the ball was in the air because the DB dropped coverage and ran towards the play. At the time the ball was still in KH's hand the DB was within 1 yard of Reed. I wathced it many times. Evans, Moulds, and the RB were within 5 and RP and JR went beyond. RP disappeared (it looked like a post pattern).

Only Reed and Parrish went beyond the marker. Parrish may have been a decoy to draw the safeties away from the 1st down marker. That only leaves Reed, who was covered, as an option. KH should have thrown it downfield, but that play was botched from the time it left TC's lips... or in this case his ass.
