  1. No need to rank them, just list them please.
  2. No need to rank them, just give me your top 5 please. Our children depend upon this!
  3. Personally, I don't find anything compelling to talk about with this team on a consistent basis. It is another year of disappointment and I don't necessarily blame fans who chose not to invest themselves emotionally in this particular roster....
  4. No, it's people like you that drive posters away and make people hate the sport in general... You know, miserable bastards who think that when the Bills win it validates their existance. The Bills winning a Super Bowl doesn't make the losers in the seats winners....
  5. Actually, there is an outside chance it could help.
  6. I guess I must be a tougher critic because his writing is very amateurish and he doesn't seem overly knowledgeable about the team. His comment about Joe Burns makes me wonder if he even knows he was on the team last year.
  7. "I would like to add my thoughts about the fiasco that your network calls "Sunday Night Football". Your broadcast last Sunday was shameful. I tuned in to watch a football game, but to my chagrin I was forced to listen to three pathetic hours of a contrived, over-the-top Tedy Bruschi lovefest. To whom was this broadcast directed at? Sports fans? I don't think a single fan would have considered cutting away to a useless interview during a crucial moment in the game. Was it directed toward illiterates that can't distinguish between a real hero and a grown man who plays a game for a living? Well, I guess you nailed that one. I think you performed a disservice to Mr. Bruschi, the New England Patriots, the Buffalo Bills, and all NFL fans when you turned your broadcast into some sort of night time, made for TV fiction piece. ESPN's continued slide away from sports reporting and programming into contrived TV is regrettable. Scott Sarama webmaster http://www.twobillsdrive.com"
  8. By what stretch of the imagination did you come up with that analysis?
  9. Dr. Z had a great article about this about 5 years ago. It was the reason he got out of broadcasting (at least that is what he claims). The article rang true to my ears, so I always stop to remember that these guys aren't flying by the seats of their pants. Someone is pulling the strings. I lay this one at the feet of ESPN more than the three knuckleheads.
  10. Time for a reality check here.... Those guys are TOLD what to discuss. They have someone chirping in the ear the whole time. Yes, the broadcast sucked, but it is the PRODUCER that should have his balls lopped off, not the guys in the booth. Now, I guess they could have tried to not lay it on so thick, but they are pawns in someone else's chess game...
  11. So, a guy goes into the hospital for a condition and does nothing else but see a bunch of doctors who say he is fine to play - he is a hero? Good grief - I guess I'm a hero 'cause I sit around for months at a time while all sorts of people tell I am healthy enough to work...
  12. No... Reed was "open" after the ball was in the air because the DB dropped coverage and ran towards the play. At the time the ball was still in KH's hand the DB was within 1 yard of Reed. I wathced it many times. Evans, Moulds, and the RB were within 5 and RP and JR went beyond. RP disappeared (it looked like a post pattern).
  13. Only Reed and Parrish went beyond the marker. Parrish may have been a decoy to draw the safeties away from the 1st down marker. That only leaves Reed, who was covered, as an option. KH should have thrown it downfield, but that play was botched from the time it left TC's lips... or in this case his ass.
  14. Well, you could put a lot of blame on them. 2 WR's and a RB were wihin 5 yards of the line - including Moulds...
  15. we had three receivers within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage....
  16. Someone had a stroke? I doubt that happened... To come back from a stroke and play in the NFL would be a heroic feat...
  17. You forgot a RB just dropping the ball to grab his pulled hamstring...
  18. Ok, that is TWICE I have responded to a thread only to get dry-boned because it got moved into the rolling chat thread...
  19. speculates this is his last year in Philly... $4.4M if you are in the market...
  20. As is the purpose of this post, go to that link and deselect the DST box.

  22. It wasn't a mirage - they did what they did against NFL also-rans. We were 9-7. We lost to good teams and beat bad teams. That isn't a mirage - it is reality.
  23. I was thinking he added a "3"?
  24. I need to come clean on this issue myself... About 3 years ago (maybe 4?), I once told someone that black people generally had darker skin than white people. Clearly, this was an insensitive remark based upon my own narrow experience of the world. I ask for your forgiveness...
