it pretty much was. It was a two bedroom "house' with no basement, no second floor and a backyard big enough to put a picnic table there. Looked like a shack to me...
"It's cold," Novak ventured, helpfully. "But it is missing, um. I don't know how to say. It is missing ... um, yes. I miss the, uh, typical taste of beer.

we had a guy last night who got hit in the face with a stick and he screamed bloody murder. I thought he lost an eye or something.
He stands up and he has a FULL face shield on... What a tool.
fast foward to age 13... I'm getting on my friends dirt bike for the 1st time, so I was naturally nervous. I gripped the handles tight while I was standing up and when I sat down, I mistakenly opened up the throttle and I took off like a bat out of hell. I did pretty well dodging the 1st few trees (the trail was in the woods) - when I finally decided to bail and let the bike smash into the tree.
He was pissed...
I guess it comes down to statistics. How many helmetless riders actually die on the scene vs. die later avfter the MediVac comes to pick you up? Then how many of those could have been avoided with a helmet? and vice versa...
The answer isn't apparent to me unless you know of a study that has been done on the subject.
Regardless, if you don't wear a helmet - then, IMHO, you are telling people to let you die on the street if you crash.
Would you consider it as "tacky" as accusing a slew of good-hearted, well-intentioned people of trying to "advertise" anything other than their friendship with Paul?
that is true, and IMO, is really the only true obstacle (I don't seriously believe that we would encounter resistance from anyone else). However, we are talking about an outline etched in stone, from a single frame of a very old cartoon in which only a certain percentage of people would even recognize.
My point is that it is worth looking into and not dismissing out of hand.
2) That wasn't my position.
3) I'm not so sure about this. There is a possibility that it could fall under fair use, that we could just receive official permission (I am checking into this when the LA office opens), or receive "unofficial" permission (we can't say you can use it, but we won't say anything if you do...).
