  1. Any good rant always includes one factual mistake or one glaring spelling error..
  2. Thurman never did a 1000/1000.
  3. Damn, I hit "5" instead of "4"
  4. "What, are you two years old or is your memory sooooo bad that you don't remember Thurman Thomas leading the league in yards from scrimmage 5 consecutive years? Or maybe you don't remember the MNF game where Thomas hurt his ankle during a 2 minute drive and he hopped on one foot and took out a blitzing Miami linebacker? If you actually claim that it was Faulk that led the way for a catching, running, blocking running back then you are a God damn fool and an ignoramous to boot. Thurman will be in the Hall of Fame next year and you have no idea who he is. I guess that is what happens when your youth is spent in the Dungeons and Dragons club and not in sports."
  5. no... you're not supposed to know!

  7. one would have to think that if they have been investigating this guy for months that there is some record of him being in CO at the time. I mean, it is stupid easy to know if this guy is lying if there are credit card receipts placing him in Atlanta during the time of the murder....
  8. A rookie cap would require a trade-off. I doubt you could get a draft choice to sign anything beyond 3 years, if you sevrely limit his 1st contract. So, you save upfront, but then have to deal with them leaving in a few short years.
  9. Now that the fund raiser is finished, it seems that this is an appropriate time to unpin this thread. Thanks to all who participated in memorializing Paul by sharing your stories with us.
  10. Where do you get this notion that Peerless is such a smart player? All I see is a guy who played himself off a bunch of teams.
  11. from what I was told, depending on how your traffic gets routed - you could still connect, but considering the complete lack of posts for several hours it sounded more like a theory than reality.
  12. Our host told us that MCI cut a cable yesterday and today, in an effort to fix it, cut their redundant cable. I do not know if the host succeeded in rerouting traffic through another carrier or if the cable was eventually repaired. Either way, we are back up...
  13. Is anyone else concerned that a Yale man is quoted as saying, "You've got..."??? What is going on over at that school? Is he from Pennsylvania?
  14. I guess so, but shouldn't there be something in the headers about the address it was really intended for??
  15. I have set up tbd to only deliver mail to a few select email addresses and bounce all others (in my virtusertable file). However, many times non-valid addresses get delivered and I don't know why... are there any experts here that can shed some light on this situation?
  16. yes! coming soon...
  17. I have a signed mini-helmet by Antowain Smith #26 that I believe is fairly worthless.
  18. Absolutely. I love hearing interviews with him when I make it back to Buffalo.
  19. http://www.theoregongrille.com/ This is just north of Baltimore, but it is excellent... The pepper-encrusted steak is to die for... Service is impeccable. Has a local Maryland horse racing theme...
  20. Tio Pepe's... Tio Pepe, 10 E. Franklin Street, 410-539-4675. Expensive. The venerable Tio Pepe continues to endear itself to Baltimoreans. On a recent Saturday night, a majority of tables consisted of older generations introducing the traditional cuisine of Spain to their progeny. And what an introduction. When you walk down the stairs to the warren of whitewashed dining rooms, you’re immediately transported to another world. Even the waitstaff’s Latin accents contribute to the night-in-Sevilla mood. Try the langostinos a la parrilla, delectable, huge shrimp in their shells; or savory, briny seafood bisque; or something that you don’t normally see on a menu like veal kidneys, perfectly complemented by a sweet, dark sauce. Definitely peruse Tio’s wine list for some of the best values in town. But order with some caution. Sometimes the suckling pig is succulent, sometimes not. Likewise, some adore the famous pine-nut roll, some don’t. We’re in the latter category, so we’d skip it for a nice post-prandial glass of sherry instead. http://www.baltimoremagazine.net/annuals/b...urants_2004.asp
