    Ok, I put a little checkbox to toggle whether external links open in new windows or not. Your selection is stored in a cookie. How about that for a solution? I'm not sure the link is in the best place - I'm open to placement suggestions.

    I clearly need to do more w/ the navigation. "I would prefer to see the headlines near the top" Where are they now? If you inlcude the quote - you need to scroll. If you don't - they will be stacked on top.

    would those forum links be best presented as a clickable drop down menu - or would you rather click on the link and just go to a new page that just had those links listed vertically?

    1. I guess it begs the question on what information people are looking for. Is it just the article links or do people want access to everything? 2. I was wondering if it wasn't better to have a list of links show up on a new page instead of a drop down? That way they can be listed linearly. 3. Yes, I can make that an "on click" event.

    I have already changed the forums links in the menu and at the bottom of the page. Plus, I removed the image from the top. I'll remove the images from the schedule and stadiumwall box soon. However, making those stadiumwall box links go to lo-fi would be tricky as it is just an rss feed. I could do the general link but not latest topic links.

    I since set the display to 320 pixels wide, but this might not be good for the iphone crowd. I need to find how they use the site before I make changes for them. I thought about linking to the lo-fi version, but wasn't sure if that was better. Could you get to the wall through the box of links towards the end or the navigation bar (fan zone)?

    ok, try this guys/gals: http://www.twobillsdrive.com/pda/ when I resize my browser window to 320 pix wide - some text gets cut off, but I'm not sure if this is because I'm not actually using a pda. also, can you get to all the links on the menu or do they get covered up/chopped off with no way to them? Anyway, try it... and let me know.

    so, do you pda users want the "quote" that follows the article links or would you just prefer the link w/ no quote?

    If? It's just a matter of when... I just need to decide what is the best resolution to design for and figure out what to throw out the window.

    bastard - that was what I was thinking of doing. I was trying to think of an icon that would represent one or the other. any ideas? I need to reconfigure a pda page. the old one no-worky no more.

    One dude emailed me today and totally ripped me a new one. He hates it and claims we look just like another fan site now. He claims our old design was so much better.

    Of the few complaints we have received so far on the redesign - timestamps and opening new windows were mentioned. I have my reasons for excluding them, but I would prefer to hear what you have to say and balance that with my own ideas. Thanks.

    because that IS how we are identified... The SB victory parade footage is hard to come by, but by recognizing the excellence that didn't quite bring home a trophy - you embrace who Buffalo is today. A city that celebrated great seasons, but came up short.

    Well, there are 24 of them now... That might be hard to fit in any one reasonably sized space, but I could see them rotating randomly on the banner. Is that what you are thinking?

    well, it is sort of working if you want the new look. Just choose Bills Skin 2.0 at the bottom of the screen in the lower left drop down menu. I'm guessing fixed width won't go over well, but this is just a test skin, so yall just relax.
