  1. If that term makes you sleep better at night... more power to you.
  2. for blackberries you are on your own: http://www.brighthub.com/mobile/blackberry...cles/15763.aspx
  3. Oh super. The peanut gallery is here. Are you going to tell us that we aren't real fans now? I'll tell you what, I'll consume my entertainment the way I want to - and you can enjoy your entertainment the way you want to. In the meantime, it appears that I've alerted several people to a valuable service despite what you proclaim.
  4. I think that is a ST deal. The NFLN does 5 games every week on Tues/Wed.
  5. Hook the computer up to the TV. and real time? eh... What better way to force me to spend my days better than to eliminate the temptation of wasting a great Sunday afternoon watching 12 minutes of football spread out over 3.5 hours?
  6. you can watch 4 games at once too...
  7. My guess is that this is when they have to have it posted, as opposed to when they actually will. Or maybe I'm a sucker.
  8. I didn't see that anywhere. Where did you see that? I called the NFL tech support and that is what they told me on the phone. Of course, he used terms like "aiming for", etc... so there are no guarantees, but even so - $40 compared to $290 or whatever it is now is huge... Especially since I time shift the games anyway.
  9. the entire season: $40 https://gamerewind.nfl.com/nflgr/secure/registerform Games available after 1 hour of game ending. Commercial-free about 3 hours after the game is over. Sync up with the local radio broadcast, have integrated stats... Considering I watch the games on TiVo anyway, so I can skip the commercials (and make the 3.5 hour ordeal only a 90 minute ordeal) - this may be the way to go on my 24" iMac. Anyone have any opinions on this? Sounds like a great deal to me.
  10. I had ala carte for 1 or 2 years - but then told me that ended. There is a thread in the Consumer's forum that has several members saying they were grandfathered in... I was wondering if they or anyone else still were.
  11. We had some members a few years ago state they were grandfathered in and so they receive the ST w/o paying for any extra programming. Does this still apply to those people? Anyone else getting it like this?
  12. I thought that was "hollow" victories?
  13. What do I do know is that some people here who have 10k posts and never needed moderator intervention. You have been here two months.... and just reading this thread - I can see why. You say something incorrect, get called on it and you still find it in your heart to berate others for it.
  14. if this is an example of how you respond to other posters, then I can see why there are so many complaints.
  15. [This is an automated response] As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive subject lines. The topic starter can edit the subject line to make it more appropriate. Thank you.
  16. the warning system is right there under your avatar. I'm sure yours just rerolled back to the start.
  17. in general, their heels are cooled because I manually approve all members. Sometimes that is an hour, sometimes it is a couple days. I have to check for spammer regs...
  18. 200 is way too high. If we do anything it would be it would more likely be a moderator approval thing then an out-right ban.
  19. that kicks in at a certain level - which is also open for review.
  20. That is handled separately from the simple byline tags that I am discussing.
  21. I'm leaning towards: 0 On Probation 50 UDFA 100 Practice Squad 250 Rookie 500 RFA 1500 Veteran 7500 All Pro 15000 Hall of Famer
  22. It sounded good at the time... I mean, we were partnered with Shout!, had access to photos, videos... I was going to work from home managing the site and several other properties. That 1st $50 check didn't go far.
  23. Bill Sorensin is the NTAC I remember....
  24. yeah, I mean I had 1600 as a Hall of Famer....
