  1. Dude. Seriously?
  2. they should be warned about the nightly turds I leave there...
  3. they are just cursed with stupidity...
  4. http://media.kansascity.com/smedia/2009/09...ffiliate.81.jpg
  5. I didn't know the poor little bastard was dyslexic. Clearly, he meant "41".
  6. No, but I did say to Deborah, "You don't understand. THIS is not the Buffalo Bills I know. They could never sustain a 4th quarter drive like that and take control of a game." which was followed by... "THAT's THE BILLS I KNOW!"
  7. Think about what you just wrote. You have no idea (and neither do I) what a potential trade would be, but you have labeled it "very dumb". It's good to know you don't need facts before you dismiss ideas and pass judgment.
  8. So, a season that is likely to end up out of the playoffs would... end up out of the playoffs? I also believe no one is already playing LB for us on Sunday...
  9. watch the block TO makes at the 9:17 mark of the 4th quarter...
  10. Sam Gado was the guy who came to mind (rushed for almost 600 yards in 8 games), but regardless - it was a figure of speech. There have been many examples of backs coming out of nowhere to have great seasons.
  11. No one is indispensable on a losing team. The question is - what are your expectations for the 2009/2010 Bills? If it is out of the playoffs, then who gives a care who your RB is? That position will likely turnover by the time you get it together.
  12. So, if I understand this correctly - the VAST majority of Bills fans across the country consider this team to be a near term disaster. However, they would prefer to keep RB a position of strength (the position with the SHORTEST career expectancy) so that we have a great one-two punch during the time we are really bad. I have always thought that RB is one of the last pieces of the puzzle you add to your team. Regardless, everyone arguing against me is dead wrong for the simple fact that I explicitly said that Brandon should actively assess his value and ONLY trade him if the value is there it improves our team. It seems a bit idiotic to argue against that point if you ask me... almost knee-jerk like... right Magox?
  13. all that may be true. You have to ask to find out though...
  14. For everyone who says you need "2 quality backs", make note that you actually need a LB or two to play defense...
  15. Note that I said "assess Lynch's market value". If the value isn't there - it isn't there and you keep him. A trade may occur for many reasons - injury on a team with playoff hopes who panics. A team with bad ownership and a penchant for shiny new things. A team thin on RB, but stocked at another position. The point is, if you want value you need to trade value. Brandon needs to assess if he can trade an asset for one that will make a bigger impact on this particular team.
  16. a talent poor team needs to make bold moves to improve their talent. It has been proven time and again that RB is the easiest position on the field to replace. People get pulled out of warehouses to rush for 1000 yards.
  17. make a real point or get out of my thread. thank you.
  18. No, it's not. Unlike most fan trades where they try to unload their crap for someone else's stars, you need to trade value to get value. Depending what Lynch would fetch in the open market, we could improve another area of our team substantially and not be much worse off. Sure you may be trading depth, but that is reasonable if you upgrade your starters.
  19. Well, yes - I alluded to that. It was the play-calling coupled with his style of running. About the only thing he doesn't do is make himself into that little ball like TT did when going through a small hole. We've had a lot of back come through here since TT left and FJ is the one who most closely resembles him and last night was a very Thurmanesque night.
  20. Lynch is a nice back who tries really, really hard. However, I'm not sure his results are commensurate with the effort.
  21. this was more of a style observation, but clearly the production needed to be there in order to observe the style.
  22. Google not helping me today. It was some ridiculous 150-3 type of stat.
  23. looked an awful lot like Thurman Thomas last night. Catching those screens, the patient running, the sliding through the holes on off-tackle runs... Anyone else get that impression?
  24. Hey! I was going to start a thread about that last night. Whenever Gruden would try to be forceful with his voice - he sounded exactly like Jaws does.
  25. The call was hitting Trent "low", not a late hit. The problem is that he hit him mid-thigh.
