Do you have any inkling why the hottest coach the year he was fired never got hired again? Brian Billick fired him for ineptness for crying out loud. When Billick thinks you suck - you must really suck, because no one blows more in coaching offenses than that assclown.

Why are you surprised? Ralph basically said, as a courtesy, that Dick would be fired at the end of the season and Dick declined. Seems like a logical choice.

I usually have your back on most everything you post, but I'm with GG on this one. We now have a green light to interview any person not under contract, w/o doing the cloack and dagger routine. If our football man is currently unemployed, then we can have a reasonable discussion and thoughtful consideration. An early hire would allow them to get acquainted and thoughtfully consider who the coach might be. It's all upside in my book.

you are missing the point. It is a coach AND QB league. You need BOTH to win consistently.
