  1. do you notice a theme there in those guys? Do you know what Brian's specialty is? Do you know the area of the football team that bares his imprint the most? Do you know what part of the Ravens team has sucked ass for years and years and years?
  2. I think we are all in agreement that would be a move in the right direction for this guy...
  3. how is this different in any organization? Players are targeted and contracts have to be offered under the current league and team financial constraints. Whether this comes from one person or two people doesn't really matter. The numbers are the numbers.
  4. Dwight - please stopping typing in all caps. thanks.
  5. Billick had the most control over the offense in Baltimore. It was a miserable failure for 10 years. A cluster!@#$ of epic proportions. Billick had the least to do with the defense which flourished w/o his involvement. Coincedence? No...
  6. No, it's not ruined... if that's how he wants to represent himself, so be it. Thank you very much for the kind words! Happy New Year's to you also. We have an exciting year in front of us in both sports.
  7. wow. you're a funny guy. I bet you're just the life of the party.
  8. What kind of ball sack criticizes someone for saying thank you and happy new year? What a piece of work you are...
  9. to complete the analysis - you would need to look at the SEC players available to us during those picks and decide if we choose "poorly" or chose "wisely".
  10. Ok, put 100 guys around my basement. Kidnap my wife. Kill my dog. Whatever. The point is if the people with the information don't talk there is nothing to report. There is no one to track at the airport. No one to track in the parking lot. No itineraries to scrutinize. 4 men. All within the organization. They can meet whenever they want without raising an eyebrow. If those 4 men don't say anything to anyone - WTF is there to report? I think the criticism in this instance is absurd. You have no evidence that the reporters had any access to any information that would suggest this news was forthcoming.
  11. If they aren't on the conference call or in Russ Brandon's office - what does it matter?
  12. So, if I discover the cure for cancer in my basement and I don't say a word to anyone - is it the media's fault for not knowing the cure was imminent?
  13. Clearly you let go of your man card easily enough...
  14. This comes up every 4 hours or so. Jim has already declared he has no interest in coaching.
  15. Sorry dude, but your hissy fit is just that - a hissy fit. You only decided to argue the other die of the coin. You have no clue if Buddy Nix is great hire and other people have no clue if he is a bad hire. There are substantive arguments to be made on both sides, even if you think you're the end all of football knowledge.
  16. The problem is that people are complaining that this team isn't built for Buffalo weather, when in fact they are losing in any type of weather. So, it really doesn't matter at this point. Complaining about a team that can't win in the snow doesn't matter if they can't win in the sun, or an overcast day.
  17. There is no regime change... Lester IS the regime!
  18. Since Jim is on the payroll I find it odd that he would drop Frank's name like that when he is a coach in Indy. I wonder if they got permission from Bill to talk with him? Boy, it really seems like Jim and Thurman are trying to get the band back together... which usually never works. However, it does make you feel good that people with influence do care enough to make an effort to turn this cluster around.
  19. We? Do you have a mouse in your pocket?
  20. wow. a link to Buffalobills.com. how incredibly helpful.
  21. there is no such thing as a "digital antenna". It is just an antenna. Keep in mind that your old VHF stations (2-13) may actually be occupying UHF frequencies now. But yes, attach an appropriate sized antenna that is appropriate for the frequencies you want to pick and you are good to go.
  22. [This is an automated response] This subject matter is being currently being discussed or has already been discussed in a previous thread. Please consider using the "search" function before starting new topics. Thank you.
  23. ... in bed.
  24. let me jump in before the audio snobs do... Good sound is personal preference. Only you can decide price/performance. If a $10 transistor radio sounds good to you then you save a lot of money. 1. Most would say no. Certainly not something built well. But, you may find a mass produced item that sounds good to you. IF so, no harm no foul. 2. Surround sound needs to be connected from your box to your HT receiver via HDMI, optical fiber, or audio coax. Red and white cables wil not transmit surround sound. 3. Most TV remotes can be programed to lock the volume to one component. 4. Not sure. I don't think they have full browsers.
