  1. Relax cowboy. The original poster was handing out backhanded praise - which is easily seen by those who know his posting history. It was equivalent to telling an arsonist how much you admire their fire-starting capabilities.
  2. To be "reminded" of someone? No. Not at all. Someone can remind you of anything in a split second.
  3. you can quibble all day about whether a guy off the street could make that throw (given years of practice with Lee Evans), but it would be hard to argue that any NFL or competent college player couldn't have made that completion. This isn't knocking him, it is just saying that he damn well better hit a guy THAT wide open with no pressure on him.
  4. It'll take about 12 hours for all the posts to be converted. We would lose any posts during that time period. Would probably do a 8p-8a type of schedule. There is a risk that the new version might consume much more resources than this one. If that happens, I'll need to upgrade the hardware and we may have to revert. Just a warning that this is very possible.

  7. The point is a well ball placed into coverage is a well placed ball. Doesn't matter what string it is. Accurate throws are accurate throws - the level of competition doesn't matter. Now throwing under pressure or created confusion is a different story, but don't take away successes that transcend competition levels.

  9. I'm going to go ahead and close this thread right now. Nothing good can come from it. and the answer is, "Thanks for giving us your best Scott..."
  10. incorrect. One large one is much, much worse for performance. But, if you allow many threads then it is just a free for all and you get 100 new threads that aren't meant for real discussion but are just an expression of emotion during a single moment of the game...

  13. how sad is it that there isn't a single player on this current team that I would want a FREE photo of? I chose the helmets...
  14. I encourage people to self-police more by using the report function... Don't wait for us, be proactive and bring it to our attention.
  15. he got a tad personal on the 2nd one!
  16. I didn't say anything about yours when you got it done: http://printliberation.com/blog/wp-content...ayze-tattoo.jpg
  17. wow, that's some serious ink...
  18. I just asked a question...
  19. http://www.triumphmusic.com/images/triumphcddvd.jpg no red obviously...
  20. Well, it has changed since I started this. It used to be on white and then I realized the white was too garish. Then I made it gray and stroked the red strip white and added a little shadow. Then I tried using the turf as a background instead of the grey. I'm starting to like the turf banner and I'm thinking maybe I solved the issue myself.... (although having an illustrator version would be better than the photoshop one I have).
  21. what about this as a banner? http://forums.sabrespace.com/public/style_...tbd312/logo.jpg If you go to: http://forums.sabrespace.com/ and select the TBD skin you can get the full effect.
  22. To see the skin and how the forum would look, go to: http://forums.sabrespace.com/ and select the TBD skin at the bottom left corner of the page.
  23. http://forums.sabrespace.com/public/style_...tbd312/logo.png I'm looking for a white background version of what we have above. What I have done just doesn't seem polished enough. I'm open to other suggestions if you have them. This is in preparation of a board upgrade, so I'm trying to get a skin ready to roll. Comedians need not apply... please don't waste my time looking at nonsense replies...
