I think not. other than the chance of a wild card tie-breaker against a non-divisional team - divisional games are more important. It is indeed an absolute. It is written in the rules.

This is just silliness. A non-division game NEVER holds more weight than a divisional game. You win your division and you get in the playoffs and you do that by beating your divisional opponents. Everything else is just noise.

I came in to post this exact thread with your exact comment. Yesterday at the post game tailgate, I offered the opinion that Lee Evans would NOT make that play because Lee was not known for fighting for the ball. Either it was thrown to him or he was a passive observer. DJ made an outstanding play on that ball. I don't know if it was his instinct or the WR coach that got into his head, but that's the definition of a game saving play.

While you are in a good mood, you should cut that check to Jay for the ticket he bought you.
