‘According to Jason LaCanfora of CBSSports.com, the Bills are “quite open” to trading Dareus ahead of the October 31 deadline and that other teams in the NFL know that the player can be had. The report also indicates that the Bills were looking to move the former star defensive tackle ahead of the roster cutdown day in September, but was deemed “untradeable by other teams given his off-field woes and massive contract.”’

‘McCoy has struggled to get going on the ground all season but Sunday was the game he was waiting to have. McCoy scored not once, but twice for the Bills and finished with 23 carries for 91 yards rushing. He also added 5 receptions for 31 yards.’

‘I’ll be the first to admit that over the past three seasons, I’ve given my share of criticisms towards Tyrod Taylor’s game. By this point, we all know what he is as a starting quarterback — and that’s someone that can make a few fascinating plays with his legs, make a throw or three that are great, and that won’t cost his team the victory by turning the ball over. He’s also a good enough quarterback to help a team sneak into the playoffs… and his effort down the stretch against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was indicative of that.’

‘After starting to do a little bit more on Monday and getting the improved status of “day-to-day” from Bills head coach Sean McDermott, wide receiver Jordan Matthews took another step forward on Wednesday. The wideout was cleared to participate in practice and did so on a limited basis during Wednesday’s practice. While he was out there, we saw Matthews go through individual drills and actually catch passes with his thumb injury — the first time we’ve seen that since his injury.’

If they wanted someone that had a rapport with Taylor that could assimilate rather quickly, they found a passable player to do just that.’
