‘Reports are the Titans met privately outside their closed facility to have practices and while some around the league are proposing Tennesee should forfeit, Micah Hyde says it’s been unclear what the NFL policies surround the virus have been.’

‘The Bills haven’t reached 5-0 since 1991, on Tuesday they’ll look to get back to that mark.’

‘If I am the Titans, I am giving this guy the ball early and often and seeing if the Bills run defense can hold up. The power back rested up for the last two weeks and his numbers look strong. Henry has 82 carries in 3 games for 319 yards. That pace is even better than a year ago when he led the NFL in rushing yards. The Bills defensive line did a good job slowing down Josh Jacobs last week in Las Vegas (that seems like a month ago). But Henry is even more of a beast.’

‘The Bills have been preparing to play two different teams over the possibility of three days.’

‘Buffalo is scheduled to head to Tennessee on Monday, with the two teams playing on Tuesday with kickoff set for 7 PM.’

‘If the Titans can remain COVID free over the next 24 hours they will be able to get into their practice facility and the Bills will be able to plan to fly to Nashville and play the game at 7 p.m. Tuesday, originally scheduled for Sunday. The Bills game with the Chiefs is on schedule to be played sometime the weekend of Oct. 17-18 in Orchard Park.’

‘If the Titans are found to be in clear violation of protocols, the NFL could make them forfeit the game and give the Bills a win without playing. But then there is a compensation issue that no player is going to want to accept.’

‘”The league will figure it out and we’ll move forward,” shrugged the Bills quarterback. “Whether we’re playing or not playing this is a team that’s been flexible and able to adjust.”‘

‘”Things are going to happen,” added Diggs. “This isn’t just a league-wide disaster, the world going through this as well.”‘

‘”We have guys that have buddies in Tennessee and we’re talking to them and it’s just crazy.”‘

‘But this is not a simple fix for the NFL. The Titans already had last week’s game with the Steelers postponed and have planned to use their bye week to make up the game with the Ravens. So the Titans do not have an open week on the schedule to play this game.’

‘While Sean McDermott met with the Bills media over Zoom as usual, this week with the COVID-19 scenario in Tennessee, Buffalo’s head coach barely had any questions about the game on Sunday, but rather if he wanted his team playing against the Titans this week.’

‘As COVID pops up in locker rooms across the NFL, Sean McDermott confirmed to reporters that there are zero positive cases in Orchard Park.’

‘While the Bills have their own injury issues to be concerned about with LB Matt Milano and CB Levi Wallace likely to not play, the Titans will have a series of players missing the games because of positive COVID-19 tests in the past week.’

‘There still need to be more rounds of negative tests but at least things are trending in the right direction.’
