‘The Bills offensive line is hoping to get a big boost with the return of guard Jon Feliciano. In his second season in Buffalo, missed the first 7 games of the year after suffering a torn pectoral muscle during training camp this year. The move on Tuesday does not necessarily mean Feliciano will play against the Patriots. The team needed to make a decision on his roster spot by this week and activated him, otherwise he would have been on season ending injured reserve.’

‘The Bills were the “Little Engine that Could ” team, led by Ryan Fitzpatrick, Stevie Johnson and Fred Jackson. They started off the game against the powerhouse Patriots about as poorly as anyone would have hoped. New England took a 21-0 lead and Tom Brady and company looked well on their way to another easy one. And then the comeback began. Ryan Fitzpatrick put on a show with 369 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns. He nearly had a 3rd when Jackson caught a pass over the middle and made it to the goal line. The good news for the Bills was that he was short of a touchdown. Good news because they were able to use all of the clock and set up Rian Lindell for the game winning field goal on the last play of the game. The Bills prevented Brady, who had thrown for 386 yards and 4TD’s from getting another shot.’

‘”I thought they rose to the challenge,” said Sean McDermott. “It was great to see.”‘

‘”I thought he played well yesterday,” said Daboll, “You’d like to hit some of those big plays when you get an opportunity to, but when they’re taking them away, he’s gotta make good decisions, and I thought he did that yesterday.”‘

‘The Bills defensive coordinator says the players performances in their 18-10 win over New York reminded him of Buffalo’s defense of 2018.’

‘Another 4th quarter drive stalled inside the red zone when Allen was sacked on 3rd and 4. Bass came back to kick his 5th field goal of the game to stretch the lead to 15-10 and then later added a 6th. Then it was Jerry Hughes, who had his best game of the season, that closed out the win by catching a deflected pass for the interception.’

‘The Bills defense has received a ton of criticism for their inability to get pressure on the quarterback and to force negative plays. But that was not the case at Met Life sStadium, certainly in the second half of the game. They knew that had to come thru with big plays and they did.’

‘The defense was fantastic in the second half, so there is a positive. But the offense moved the ball and could not get in the end zone.’

‘The shorthanded Bills will have linebacker Matt Milano and cornerback Tre White active for today’s game with the Jets. The two key defensive players had been listed as questionable. The Bills are already without Josh Norman and John Brown. Once again defensive lineman Harrison Phillips is a healthy scratch.’

‘This news has very little impact on the game against the Jets on Sunday. Knox was already ruled out for the game, Sweeney is on the PUP list and Becker is on the practice squad.’

‘I know the Bills haven’t exactly opened up holes for Singletary, but it’s about time he helps out on his end. After a decent start to the year, Singletary’s carries have been a dud over the last 3 weeks. He is averaging under 3 yards a carry during the Raiders, Titans and Chiefs games. His longest run all season has been 18 yards. There is no question the Bills believe they need more since they made a play for Le’Veon Bell. The pressure is on Singletary to perform and playing the Jets might be just what he needs.’

‘”With guys that are in and out of the lineup, not creating excuses but we gotta find that rhythm to get off the field on third down and tighten up in the red zone,” added Hyde. “Stuff we’ve been doing here in the past for so long.”‘

‘”We’re 4-2 now and that’s in the past. What we can control is what’s ahead of us.”‘

‘”Doing my part sometimes means doing less,” added Allen. “Taking the check-down when possible.”‘

‘Buffalo in their last two games has only managed to put up an average of 17 points. That’s down from the over 30 points per game the Bills scored in their first four contests of the season.’
