‘The 3rd quarter, normally an issue for the Bills, started out with a fantastic drive. Allen kept feeding Stefon Diggs and the drive was capped off by a pass over the middle for the 19 yard touchdown and the 16-7 lead. Then right after the Bills forced a 3 and out on Pittsburgh, Allen drove the Bills right down the field and finished the drive with a bullet TD from 23 yards to Gabriel Davis in the corner to make it 23-7.’

‘The biggest play of the year (and for many reasons the biggest play in a long time) was the Justin Zimmer forced fumble of Cam Newton to finally beat the Patriots. That won the game. But the play Taron Johnson made in the second quarter Sunday night was massive. The Steelers defense had dominated the game and Pittsburgh had a chance to keep and maybe extend the lead before half. Instead Johnson stepped in front of Ju Ju Smith Schuster and took it to the house. It was the first Bills defensive score since 2017 and it turned around what turned about the game to a huge win.’

‘I subscribe to the notion that it’s not always who you play it is when you play them. The Steelers are still a quality team, but for the last month they have been playing like a team waiting to lose. It happened against Washington. I think Mike Tomlin is really good about getting his team’s attention, but even he appeared to be frustrated with the wins and the poor execution. (His JV football reference after the Ravens win). I know the Steelers are banged up but I think they give a focused and ticked off effort and the Bills need to be ready.’

‘”They’re a top defense in the league.,” Sean McDermott continued, “They play hard. They play physical. They pressure the quarterback.”‘

‘In his first three seasons, Beane has helped end Buffalo’s playoff drought and brought the Bills to two post-season appearances.’

‘This is the first time any Bills player has won this award 3 times in a season. Not Jim Kelly. Not Thurman Thomas. Not Andre Reed. This is the 4th time Allen has gotten the honor in his career. For some perspective, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson won it 5 times last year alone on his way to the MVP. And then Patriots star Tom Brady won the award 31 times in his career.’

‘Buffalo is 6-0 this season when Allen throws for 300+ yards.’

‘”My dad was a huge Niners fan, his family huge [fans],” Allen said. “I remember watching games going back to when I was four or five years old, tailgating and cherishing some of those moments because they were really cool growing up.”‘

‘When speaking about Josh Allen ,Saleh said Allen reminds him of a young Cam Newton and that he was much more than he expected when he turned on the tape.’
