‘”Everybody wants to be a starter, but I’m [just] looking forward to fulfilling whatever role it is the team has for me,” Morris said. “If that’s strictly special teams, I’m here for it.”‘

‘”He’s come in and he’s just been great,” said offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. “He’s provided a lot of energy for us every single day. There hasn’t been a day that practice has rolled around and he doesn’t want to be here. He has attacked every single day with a great attitude, great energy and great leadership.”‘

‘He was just working to the side, and is still on the PUP list, which means he can’t practice or play until he’s activated.’

‘”For personal accolades and achievements, I don’t really care for any of that — it’s more team-oriented stuff,” Kincaid said. “Personal goals — I’ll set some things and write them down, things I want to achieve, but that’s not nearly as important as what I want to achieve with the team.”‘

‘”It’s kind of fun to just be able to tie two totally different sides of my life in a really cool way,” Jessica said. “It’s always really cool — I love sports, I love learning about other athletes, their process and how they handle things. ‘”I would not want to tackle him,” coach Sean McDermott said. “He’s big, and he runs big.’

‘In 2021, Allen played a substantial amount in the preseason. Last year, he played just a few series.’

‘”It was fun. It was fun to be back out there and kind of roll up my sleeves a little bit,” McDermott said. “Still working through the communication piece. A preseason game’s a little bit different than a regular season game, but we’ll go back just like we do with the players and evaluate that and talk about some areas that we’ve got to improve on. It’s just kind of getting on the same cadence.”‘

‘”It was fun. It was super fun,” Hamlin said. “It was a great experience, you know what I’m saying? “It’s just another milestone in the step of getting back to myself in the football space and in the NFL. I’m just chopping this tree down as much as I can one step by one.”‘
