Schoen, however, couldn’t make the deal once the board fell a certain way, which led to Beane calling Baalke and the Jaguars.’

‘Ford has spent his entire playing career with the Seattle Seahawks after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Texas in 2018. Over the course of his five seasons in the NFL, Ford has played in 76 games, starting 64 of them, making 181 combined tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 27 quarterback hits, 7.5 sacks and one forced fumble.’

‘I’m still concerned about the depth chart at wide receiver once you get past Stefon Diggs, but they did add a weapon that should help the Bills offense. That is what I’m holding on to regarding the selection of tight end Dalton Kincaid.’

‘The 33-year-old has played 10 seasons in the NFL, making 75 starts in 135 career games and earning one Pro Bowl nod in 2015 with the Oakland Raiders. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards that season.’

‘This past season in nine games played, Shorter finished with 29 catches for 577 yards and two touchdowns. Some his best games this past year with the Gators included a Week 4 loss to the Tennessee Volunteers, where he caught seven passes for 155 yards. In his final game of the 2022 season, Shorter caught eight passes for 106 yards against Vanderbilt.’

‘In his four years at Mississippi Broeker did not miss one game, appearing in 48 games for the Rebels starting 23 games at left tackle, and 13 at left guard. In his senior season he earned first team all SEC along with second team All-American. Broeker won the Kent Hull Trophy for the best offensive linemen in the state of Mississippi.’

‘As a redshirt Sophomore, Austin played and started 12 games for the Beavers in 2022. In his final season Austin had two interceptions to go along with 42 solo tackles, one sack, a fumble recovery, and 10 pass breakups. He was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention, as well as Pac-12 Defensive player of the Week (Oct. 24).’
